We don't have a Satisfactory thread? - Satisfactory thread.

I feel your pain, I did miles of belts all the old fashioned way.

I think I need more screws

All this is just for 75 HMF/min.

Started another Satisfactory run because a friend was interested. Been playing since Friday. I am taking it slow, no need to rush.

The game itself is running great! Temperatures are way down even for early-game. I started in the grassland for the first time since probably alpha... 5? Sure has changed a lot.

Speaking of screws, I got the recipe for cast screws on my second hard drive. Mark it down, the game is over. Easy mode achieved. (I got the +6 item slots on my first)

:smug:

I never understood the fuss about screws

I like em, I like to make em, I like to see em moving on my belts. They're really not that big a deal.

I use solid steel ---> molded beams ---> cast screws and blamo! More screws then you can use. Plus all the recipe that omit screws eat up more resources then those with em.

Don't be lazy! Make screw production lines and learn to embrace the screw!

Turning rods into screws can become such a late-game bottleneck and/or a space issue even with adequate planning. Easier to make them from ingots and call it a day.

I am a little forgetful of the recipes but the aluminum and plutonium shortcuts are amazing.

I know we said it before, but blueprint auto-connect is such a massive upgrade. The curve setting also looks so good, I don't know what they tweaked but it is better.

Got halfway through my 75 fused frame factory last night only to realize I made a math error.

I don't need 4800 aluminum casing like I thought but 5800. Doh! So I'm off to the Red Forest to suck up whats left of the bauxite on the planet.

I dunno where I'm going to get all the silica I need, I've already harvested most of the quartz and put it through the double refining process just to feed the original aluminum line. Which was quite the PITA as the silica extraction has to be balanced perfectly with the output water or it fucks up so fast and jams.

Oh well, off to build another 2 million refineries.

The worst part is I'm still running off of rocket fuel. I haven't even started nuclear power yet.

I don't know how to help.

Try asking the lady in the elevator. She has been very kind.

It more of a rhetorical question. I know what I need to do, there is enough quartz left over it's just that I don't really want to drag it all the way across the map.

I'm kinda burned out on logistics at the moment. I want to build but the factory can't grow unless it's fed right?

So off I go, to the rocky desert to pipe the quarts to the blue crater lake area to be refined. It's fun but it's also annoying...riddle me that. What an odd game Satisfactory is. I hate playing it some days but I can't stop because there is always something new that needs doing to reach my final goal.

send halp plz.

Finally finish my 75 fused frames per minute factory off last night.

It was a lot more work then I was expecting thanks to me being a moron in math. Still nice to see all those pricey frames coming out...even if they're only being fed into the AWESOME sink atm.

On the plus side I am now fully prepped for the Nuclear Stage but I think I will take a small break for a month or tow. That 2nd aluminum casing factory build was rather tedious, balancing out that silica water outputs/inputs was annoying as all hell thanks to Satisfactory fluid dynamics.

I hope to God I don't need quartz for anything else as I think I sucked up most of it to make silica for my alumina process.

I made the mistake of checking out the new Ark release and now I've been playing that a lot too much. So Satisfactory may have to take a back seat for a bit while I finish my retro-future tech base and breed up my T-Rex's for the boss battles. I just realized that despite putting like 500 hours into ASE I never actually finished the game so I'm a try to do that this round.

If anyone wants a copy of my save to goof around in just let me know, it's fully functional but just needs some love and decoration to make it look pretty and I'm not really capable of doing the shit I see on Jew Tube...man how do some of those people come up with such awesome designs?

They have no job.

Slowly building out my steel and oil production. Unsure if I want to do a fuel power setup or spam coal plants... kind of want that coal for other things.

Go the diluted fuel to rocket fuel route if you dont want to touch nukes. I've got 600 oil churning out 120MW on rocket fuel and best of all rocket fuel is a gas so no pumps needed no matter how high you build.
