Websites That Suck

Cracked. They used to write humorous articles and I visited the site frequently in the 2010s. I even had an account on their forum. It's now just overrun with the usual self-righteous faggots that plague the internet.

Another more obscure website that went to shit was Box Office Theory, a forum dedicated to discussing and predicting movie box office results. It used to be very active and had a pretty diverse userbase (and I mean, actually diverse, with lots of differing viewpoints). Ever since 2020, the forum population has cratered, and now only a few dozen users remain, one of whom is a tranny jannie who shuts down any discussion that he personally disagrees with.

Not exactly it was a driver in it but it was happening before that, I can recall for some reason my dad trying AOL in the UK in maybe around 1998 and I signed up and one of the recommended chatrooms was LGBT Kids, and it was just a normal adult account not flagged as a kids account (something they offered I think the filter was the dial up number you used) and I can recall some early Official chatrooms for TV shows that where totally unmoderated and getting approached by nonces, and laughing at them " I got sent a dick pic back then that was a scan of a instant photo, and I said lad are they pubes or a did you lose a fight with a dot matrx printer)

I've never liked twatter, never used it genuinely dislike it, I recall the early days of it and it was exactly as bad today as it was then - so I just ignored it an anything about it because it has 0 impact on my life and wonder why people are so addicted to it.

Fandom/Wikia really has an odd interface. For some reason I find it difficult to search for a term within the Fandom Subsite I'm on. Instead when I search for a term it search all over the various different Fandoms instead of just searching for the term within the Fandom Site I'm on.

Being able to create your own Fandom however was a nice and unique feature fifteen years ago.

discogs have far surpassed them in accuracy and they cover all music, not just metal. they were a very early adopter of a social media score system that incentivised community volunteered content. they tanked that by allowing retards into moderation jobs, policing what is and isn't 'metal' and by adopting far-left forum moderation politics for a genre of music with a predominantly straight male working class & right wing audience. this somehow thanslates into tranny dick and NSBM both being allowed. this is what happens when you put women in charge.

Flashback - Swedish forum (mostly populated by millennials, some lurking boomers and zoomers who doesn't use 4chan yet), larping as a free speech forum, I have never seen admins glow as hard as any other site and the mods are redditors making it a coomer cuck safe space. If you are wondering why Sweden got niggerfyed before all the other Scandinavian countries and so fast at that too: lurk for a bit (keep a barf bag nearby btw) and experience the realization that the snow nigger meme is real. Also still the most active forum in Sweden.

  • Drugs have whole section, as big as the Tech and IT section, yes the "Sweden is full of drug addics" is a real meme.
  • The Sex section is what redditors wish they could have (if it was legal), I think Farmers on this site knows what I mean by that...
  • Just like 4chan: coom and gamba ads (I cropped it out).
  • LMFAO, just realized there is a thread about what they can learn from the FamiljeLiv moderation
Also, they got "their own" VPN service

Familjeliv - Celebrity news site whose forum section became a cope/trauma dumping site for roasties, divorced women and single moms (a more active version of crystal cafe but with some users actually having children). It has the spiritual vibes to r/AITA with similar, if not even worse mod team than reddit.

WARNING! Visit these sites at your own risk, but DO NOT MAKE AN ACCOUNT!
Swedish AOC is not the same as the American and there are topics about it. The worst section is only visible for logged in users (some users might cross post). I don't need to explain this any further for why this can be a problem for users outside of Scandinavia.

Also for the Flashback site: Cops and SÄPO are confirmed lurkers and are probably in collaboration with the admins at this point. Doxing of politicians and people living with protective identity, drugs and prostitution sales through PM's (or in some incidents, retards making a post shilling it), also pedo advice. The site has its fair share of users of very questionable character, so don't act surprised with the glow niggers being there. Its been arounds since 1996. There is no way a website like this stays up as far as it has without some deals with the FED's.

Anyways, I hope you don't get too blackpilled of the state of Sweden with this one...

I had my own site there when it was Wikia. They forced that awful design in 2009 and made it so users couldn't even choose a skin that was more pleasing some time later. It broke most of the pages that were more than just text, so I moved to Wikidot (thriving back then but now apparently dying). I really have no use for anything on Wikia or Fandom any more, but sometimes I poke my head in there to see what it's like and every time it is worse. If I turn off Brave Shields, three quarters of the screen becomes ads and my laptop fans start running at full speed.

Answers.com was helpful when having to look up homework questions, but christ almighty did that site have a shitsea of ads (this was before I knew what adblock was unfortunately)

Every single news site that got rid of comments sections. I think the only ones that still have comments are Breitbart and Yahoo News. IMDB also sucked after they took away the message boards. It was nice for gossiping about actors and talking about why any given movie sucked.

It looks like everything on there is written by bots. Most of the old authors moved to here but I'm not paying money to relive the days of reading Seanbaby articles.

That site used to be fun as hell. An underground vibe with mostly based posters. Chill mods who could dish out and take a joke. Basically a more edgy version (for better and for worse) of the farms.

Today it's basically reddit. I.e. luminescent dogshit with a sprinkle of nonces on top.

The redditfication of Flashback is really depressing.

It's been around for longer than I have been alive and with that, the site got some really interesting history. Its still the only place for info that mainstream newspapers refuse to release (in Sweden), even tho, recently the jannys been selecting (biased) more on who they allow to be doxed nowadays. I highly suspect it was targeted by leftists due to the same same principle as for why 4chan got targeted with coomer, demoralization and skitzo spam : When people are allowed to post what ever they want, including the truth. The left will always lose the debate. It's hard to keep the face up as a nigger sympathizer when a majority of (convicted and reported) cases of rape, shootings and robberies are shitskins and you can't censor it from the public. Flashback was the site to get some gossip insight on something, but not anymore.

Also on the edgy part compared to the farms: Flashback has a higher an hero count than the farms. The farms got so much shit for allegedly being "responsible" some troons 41% themselves (LMFAO), meanwhile on Flashback they are an heroing left and right on retarded drug trips and yet the site has never had as big problems as the farms staying up. Maybe it's becuase when it's Swedes dying it's ok but if it's troons it's a problem. Food for thought.

Another little thing worth mentioning, there is a podcast group of 3 women called "Flashback Forever", it's just as cringe as you could imagine, they bring a thread up and talk about it. Ofcourse they never bring up the based stuff and they brought in the normies shitting up the place. Just thought it was a little comparison of people stealing posts and ideas on the farms for content, same shit goes for Flashback as well and they even get to be on the Swedish public service for it. If this is organic is up to debate.

It at all points was this. /gif/ never had some golden era where it used to be better. It was always depraved porn and some of the most horrific gore imaginable astroturfed to no end. There are entirely too many images I saw as an adolescent that legitimately fucking disturb me to this day. Fuck /gif/
