Make no mistake, Kiwis. Anime Matsuri is going to be the convention battleground to watch.
- The only major convention that did not rescind their invitation to Vic. Vic is still going.
- Invited Reuben Langdon (voice and mocap actor for Dante of Devil May Cry) after Newsweek and Eurogamer wrote rather slanted opinion pieces about him after he said he couldn't picture Vic doing the things accused of him and Vic deserved a fair shot:

So, the people on 8chan are looking into Sony (Funimation's parent)'s corporate structure, and found that it's an absolute mess.
Ty Beard discovering stuff is going to be rather tedious, if anything.
Also, the people on 8ch found a Bilibili partnership that barely relates. The Bilibili deal is to distribute Bilibili's original cartoons (Bilibili's Chinese, so can't call their original works "anime" since that Japanese/French or "animao" as that's Korean. "Donghua", maybe?) onto video.

Ah, pardon me, I'm retarded. I guess this whole weeb wars thing has really gotten to me more than I thought, probably since KF is taking it so seriously. I wish I didn't care but since I do like conventions and this whole thing is affecting the western anime community pretty retardedly, particularly among "anime" youtuber drama whores (who shouldn't exist in the first place), I just can't seem to not care.
