Well, Brave browser is the easiest, it's not that secure but if you're just browsing kf then it's probably enough unless this shitty forum gets declared a terrorist group and they start rounding everyone up then Brave's tor window might not be secure enough.

I'd recommend TOR browser, i find Brave's doesn't work as well for me, and ends up being slower. They've really improved the speed of the TOR relays since the last time i used it.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how quickly TOR works these days. Last time I tried it a few years back, it was pretty much dialup speed.

One thing that there doesn't seem to be a clear answer on out there.... how safe is TOR from DDoS attacks? The official TOR Project site claims that it's night on impossible to DDoS a site on the network, but other articles suggest it's as easy as downloading a script from GitHub. So which is it?

Why not normal methods? The web is run by glass-jawed bitch-ass niggers. Why this method? The CIA glowniggers needed a replacement for short-wave numbers stations as a deniable method for communicating with secret agents in other countries. The US Naval Research lab came up with a way of using the public internet plus multiple layers of encryption to do this (onion routing). In order to get enough traffic to disguise what they're doing they need to make it possible for everyone (autistic enough) to use it. Apparently they made it a little too well (according to this GCHQ presentation leaked by Edward Snowden anyway). The FBI also use it for entrapment from time to time.
