I had a dream where I was roaming around weird non existent Japanese cities that are amalgamations of towns and cities I’ve been to. Also it rained constantly and it’s never sunny.

Do you ever 'come back' to certain places, like your rainy cities, over the course of multiple dreams? I dream of a temple or cathedral that leads to different biomes several times a year. It evolves over time, but the vibe and feeling of that place is always the same. I wonder sometimes if it's my visual cortex parsing some kernel of my being into a visual representation of the inner me.I had a dream where I was roaming around weird non existent Japanese cities that are amalgamations of towns and cities I’ve been to. I've been told by several folks that dreams of your teeth falling out are about psychological growth, personal rebirth or evolution in personal values.
ETA - Apparently Jung was a big proponent of this idea.
That’s the dream I’ve been having since a month ago. I often start from the arcade that’s in the city. There’s some anthropomorphic animals in the city and there’s a massive water park. But I mostly wander into office supply stores or the train stations.Do you ever 'come back' to certain places, like your rainy cities, over the course of multiple dreams? I really get the feeling that these recurring spaces are trying to tell us something, you know? All our other dreams are so random and disconnected most of the time, why is it we keep coming back to certain places? Whenever I have those sorta dreams they're clearer, more structured, easier to remember and it seems like there's a message underneath all of it sometimes. That’s the dream I’ve been having since a month ago. There’s one time where I was at the water park in the city despite being very cloudy. And the changing room was full of mold and had shitty concrete walls.I really get the feeling that these recurring spaces are trying to tell us something, you know? That sounds pretty dark. There’s one time where I was at the water park in the city despite being very cloudy. And the changing room was full of mold and had shitty concrete walls.
I don’t know, I felt okay for some reason. I just wanted to go down a water slide. That sounds pretty dark.
How did you feel in that moment? Can you tie it into anything in life?
Or at least, it seems like there's a specific set of emotions attached to that feel and that place.
I know the feeling you're talking about! Dreams can be wonderful like that.I don’t know, I felt okay for some reason. I just wanted to go down a water slide.
It was really more harrowing than it was weird, but either way it's amazing what lengths your subconscious will go to try and tell you something. They're still some of the only dreams I even remember (and quite vividly, at that).
I got a dream last night where in an elevator and the elevator kept stopping at random floors except for the 11th floor and every stop had a weird thing. Floor 9 was a jungle and Floor 23 was an airport. Floor 30 had a Victorian era tea party happening, Floor 42 stopped at an Russian subway station. Floor 64 had a friendly giant rat who was late for a business meeting. I woke up around Floor 70.
1) I didn’t see what was on floor 70.What was on Floor 70?
Was anyone in the elevator with you?
What kind of elevator was it; old-timey, nondescript, or one of those inner-city hospital elevators that rattles like a C-130, stinks like a vomitorium, and has a corner soaked in either piss or amniotic fluid?
