Weird Dreams Thread

The weirdest of my recent dreams saw me driving to a shopping mall and parking my car inside the mall even though I'm not sure how my car made it inside without damaging anything or hitting anyone. Anyways, I found a corridor that seemed empty and devoid of open stores, so I parked there. As I turn the corner, I realize I forgot something. When I go back to my car, though, it's gone despite there not being any noise associated with a car being stolen and/or driven away.

After wondering what happened, I realize I need to report my car being stolen. As I'm walking through the mall, I finally spot a security guard who turns out to be Anthony Anderson. I tell him about what happened and his response began with, "Of all the stupid things I've ever heard of..." As I'm waiting for him to criticize me and what I had done, he finishes by saying, "This isn't one of them," much to my relief.

As we walk together, he gets on his radio to start his report. All of a sudden, I notice an open door and what looks like a car's headlights in the darkness. Figuring this has to be my car because nobody else could be driving around inside the ball, I get Anthony's attention. However, I woke up before we could investigate further.

Most of my dreams fall under the weird category.
A particularly memorable one related to taking pills that i didn't need and being haunted by a massive shadow creature that nobody else could see.
I think I died in the dream, in the end.

Some old lady resembling a smart version of my late mother took me to an old phone booth, with a rotary dialer, we transported to some 1800s England steampunk coffee shop and there were these bins of really good pierogis available for anyone to grab. I was worried we couldn’t find our way back

Last night I had a dream that I worked at a prison and was on after tax salary for 16000. My before-tax salary was 33000. (I saw this on the pay stub I picked up after my shift ended.) I hate the libtarted taxes in my dream state. The prison was made of cinder-blocks. It was a large complex painted light grey at the second meter of room height and dark grey on the flow-touching meter of room height. Most of my duties had to do with tracking down a scrutiny flaw with the cells while also transporting prisoners who had escaped. The problem was that if a prisoner was in a cell, the prisoner would request help from a guard and then steal the card that made up the dad-man's switch that keeps the cell door open. The cells are made of cinder-blocks with a a light grey metal blast door that opened out of the cells. Prisoners would trick the lock by taking out the dead-man's switch while the door was open and then they would have the card that opens the door so they could get out. It must have either been when a guard was having a prisoner walk out of the cell, hands cuffed their back, when a prisoner could take the card. If the slot, a gap on the latching side of the door, a guards right hand side, cut out of the cinder-block, just heightful enough to allow a hand in to replace a card. I after understanding the problem and testing my hypothesis on one of the recaptured escapees. I then reported the situation to my supervisor, then I inspected the rest of the cells on the block I was responsible for. When I got bock from inspecting the cells, I got my pay stub and discovered that taxes are too high working there, but at the time I felt grateful for the salary pay.

Then I woke up.

I dreamt about a book the night before last. Just this book, and my hands touching it, nothing else. It was a small paperback thick with aged yellow pages, crisp but not too crisp. The cover was white and simple like an old edition of a classic. On the front was a painting that was mostly deep blue with some orange in the corner, but I can't say what it was depicting (it may have been abstract).

It was about a young couple - Michael (or Miguel?) and Violet. Michael comes to stay with Violet and her family, who are all eccentrics. He tries to woo Violet, who isn't very receptive (not out of friendzoning, just playing hard to get). The other plot aspect was flashbacks to the couple's past lives, or visions to the couple's possible futures, or both. I opened the book at random as I do when looking at a new book and I remember a few scenes: At the start, a scene where Michael gets into a car (at a station or airport) and meets the parents; In the middle, a vision of Michael being executed publicly with Violet watching in a historical (Revolutionary France I think) setting; at the end, the two are in their 60s and are holed up in a fort by an enemy force, they're offered a chance to leave but instead go down fighting together because that's better than growing old. After that was an epilogue of sorts with these gods who seemed benevolent but had Lovecraftian names, discussing the couple's life and destiny.

I don't know what it was called, but the book's author was Diane Wynne Jones, an actual British children's author in the 80s. I've read her work but it doesn't include anything like this. In the dream she had written a trilogy about Napoleon and some works set in the mythos of those faux Lovecraftian gods. I had the impression that this book was a prequel to the Napoleon trilogy, and that I had read the trilogy before which explains the scene at the end. Michael/Miguel and Violet would become figures in a revolution lead by Napoleon, the Hamiltons to his Washington. They were martyred in the second book (of the trilogy), thus helping the cause.
All in all it was a strange dream, especially because it was just of me looking over this book with my hands. There were no common dream-elements like people or locations from my life.

Since it reoccured recently, here's one that's particularly weird.
I used to have awful nightmares about creatures that fell into a strange pit that formed randomly. If it wasn't something I had nightmares about at a young age, I would have thought it was inspired by the various junji ito things I grew fond of. Either way, it was mostly spooky bc whenever things fell in the pit, their flesh melted away from their bones in a disgusting, overly detailed way. For some reason, I could always see it clear as day regardless of me being safely away from said pit.

also, whenever this happened and i was close by wherever it decided to form in the dream, my vision would abruptly focus on the rapidly decaying body like i was inches away from it as if my very existence was separated from my body to force me to watch something die in a brutal way.

Dennis and Dee Reynolds strapped a shock collar to my neck and testicles and threatened to shock me if I said the word "shooting". They then tried to get me to go into a Gamestop and ask about the latest Call of Duty game, but I immediately called them out on it and refused.

Appropriately enough, Dennis was really getting off on the idea of shock torture.

I haven't had any noticable weird dreams (that I can remember at least) in a while but someone told me about a dream they had a while back. It was them and their friend crashing a car horribly and as they lay on the ground being burnt alive sora from kingdom hearts was suddenly in front of them asking them if they've read the bible and various other jesus shit I can't remember.

This reminds me kind of of a dream I had once AGES ago which was like one of the only nightmares I've had in a long time. it ws a mostly weirdly cinematic feeling trippy ass dream and at one point I ended up being shrunken down to mouse size or some shit I can't remember the exact plotline as once more it's been so fucking long. But thing is there was some dude on a rusty cheap spring cot just twanging at a loose spring and making the menacing fat guy face the dude that goes "I AM IN A WORLD OF SHIT" in fullmetal jacket does when he's on the crapper. There was like a gerbil or hamster or something like that that I watched scurry by him and he just brutally fucking murdered it blood and guts everywhere. Like just full on crushing it with his hands and feet in a fucking creepy cruel and realistic fashion. I have no idea why the fuck my subconscious decided to make a simulation where I had to watch a fucking rodent be killed like that but it did.

I had a dream where I was playing some sort of ancient Rome simulator game on the PC, and I decided to make CWC as my leader in a game session. I guess I was going to post about it on KF or something, because I was describing the events in-game to some unseen audience. The very first thing that happened was that there was a massive earthquake, causing 14 million of the 42 million inhabitants of the capital city to die (that's exactly one third). For some reason, I commented that this "wasn't too bad". Then there was immediately afterwards a random event lowering CWC's popularity: there had been omens that he would bring destruction to the land of his birth. I clicked on the capital city and the screen that came up had CWC's icon upside-down, indicating that he was no longer in power. I calmly explained to the audience that "the earthquake caused the government to become uninstalled". I tried to reinstall the government to continue my autistic CWC playthrough, but then there was another earthquake causing most of the population of the capital to be wiped out so I gave up.

I believe in prophetic dreams, and I and other people I've talked to have had other dreams about an upcoming earthquake, at least one of which I have posted already. My interpretation of this dream was that as a low IQ, deranged, incestuous deviant, CWC was a stand-in for President Biden, just as the Roman Empire was a stand-in for the United States (the comparison is basically a cliche at this point). 42 million is pretty close to the population of California (something I did not know before having the dream), and between Big Tech's stranglehold and Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi making most of the decisions for Biden the senile puppet, the capital city represented first California, then after California was devastated, Washington DC. The second earthquake might actually be in La Palma and trigger the Atlantic megatsunami that devastates the entire eastern seaboard.

I know the day of the week, time of day, and two signs of the upcoming earthquake but I don't know exactly when it will happen. I am interested in discussing it with other people who have had prophetic dreams, or dreams of earthquakes and/or the breakup of China and the fall of the CCP that they think might be significant. I do believe that these are the last days, not just as a religious conviction, but because I have had a recent dream telling me when the world is going to end.

I had a nightmare where i was with a girl and wanted to take her to a motel to fuck but i had no idea how much money i had on my account and i had no dollars in cash on me (theres currency controls here so to have liquid money i need to make an exchange first) . I was in some area that i sort of recognized but i didn't knew any hotels nearby.

It was one of those stress dreams where a lot of little stuff piles up. Like i didn't know how much she was into me so i didn't want to look cringe, i felt she would go if we delayed it too long, then i found a place but i didn't knew if my debit card would pass, it turned out there was a technical issue and they gave me a form to fill and told me to wait in line in another room full of people so they could process my payment. "Fuuuuu this is so stressful holy shit " so i took the girl out and told her we'd find somewhere else but i didn't know where, she told me some place that i also didn' knew but seemed pretty far and i had no cash for a cab and still don't know how much there is left on my account or if i will be able to pay for that room but didn't want to admit it i case she walked out on me, Then it looked like it would rain, at aome point i looked and saw i had some device on my arm, like one of those things to measure blood pressure and "remembered" some conman put it on me and told me i had to pay it in quotas, i realized it was a scam but i could not find the dude to give it back to and break the contract and i still wanted to fuck this girl and get it over with so my head was spinning.

It just kept going on and on like that, i was so fucking anxious until i awoke

Growing up, I had a weird dream that seemed to be based on an actual event.

Some guy, who appears to be some sort of foreman or supervisor, is speaking half gibberish to me but he makes it clear that an escalator needs to be cleaned while it's shut down to get rid of unnecessary grease and garbage that's accumulated on the sides. TL;DR, the stuff spontaneously combusts and starts a fire before anyone could clean any of it out.

Years later, I'd become aware of a similar real life incident (The King's Cross Fire) when a college course I took featured a chapter that analyzed various major disasters. I can't help wondering if I was somehow aware of the King's Cross Fire on a subconscious level when it actually happened -- possibly from it being mentioned on the evening news -- and then had a dream loosely related to it.

Just woke up from a dream where I was on a small boat sailing out into a large bay. There were like 25 people on board a vessel that had like 4 different rooms. Anyways a massive storm hit, monsters started showing up that looked a bit like the people who saw us off, and one guy got mauled by vicious sea lions that broke into the ship somehow. Then I rewound time and got to see it from the perspective of people on land, who were desperately trying to communicate with the ship, which somehow made the monster lookalikes. Then I woke up.

Not really weird, just other than being remembered, but just because of my grandfather being in it (who has been dead well over 20 years). We were driving a car to sell it, down a dirt road, and complaining about its lack of a windshield, because we had for some reason sold that.

Also it reminded me of how much I missed him.

Passed relative dreams are so wack. It re-opens healed wounds but sometimes its endearing.

My Dreams are always non-sensical or have unsettling connotations. Like for example, I had a dream last night where all my teeth fall crumbled and fell out in my mouth because of random "Radiation Sickness" ( I couldn't understand where the radiation was coming from)

It was like he had never died. One of my favorite memories was I was driving him somewhere for some reason and sperging out and road raging and he was just completely chill. He just pointed out one of the other drivers I was bitching about and said "see that guy? He's not done yet." And then the guy did something else utterly retarded.

He drank, smoked and played poker until nearly the day he died.

I dreamed that I was at a school teaching grades 1-8 as a student, yet I was a young adult (twentysomething) and so were the other people in my year. This fit, twentysomething black guy (another student) with a shaven head greeted me by grappling with me and getting me in some kind of a hold. I knew that he wasn't actually going to hurt me and this was just how he greeted people, but I was still unhappy with it. I noticed that he was dressed exactly like me, including a thick red sweater.

Anyway we started talking and I mentioned my prophetic dreams, but said something about how it would give a misleading impression to call me psychic. He told me that I needed to work on my telepathy, and I agreed. After waking up, I realized that I had no idea how to even start working on my telepathy and was displeased. (If anyone here has any good advice about how to develop your telepathy :optimistic: , I'm interested.)

Speaking of possibly prophetic dreams, near the start of October I had a dream where I was trying to leave the state of Washington. I was in a vehicle with all my stuff and on the road, but the road was choked with people fleeing some kind of disaster, and no one was moving anywhere or had moved for days. Then we heard some kids saying, "Trick or treat!"; it was Halloween. I thought that this might be related to my dreams about earthquakes, but now apparently there's supposed to be massive flooding on the west coast, so maybe it's that instead. Or both I suppose, massive flooding followed by an earthquake is going to cause some serious mudslides; the resulting road blockage would sure explain why nobody would be going anywhere.

I've had three in the past couple of years that are memorable and bizarre in their own way:

1. The first was a short dream, it was literally VHS footage of the "Denver Spacecraft" in 1996 (name of it in the dream, dated at some point in that year)....it was some kind of prototype for an alternative form of propulsion but the guys in the dream were screwing around and using it to shoot hoops as it bounced up and down on its engines.

2. The second was a 1920s-1930s period piece that had some romantic elements with a woman and other people on a ride home from a party. I remember the clothes we were wearing as well as the frost and breath fog on the windows of the car. It ended before we met our destination.

3. The third is my favorite. It's another period dream but set in the early 1980s in the major city here.... I apparently time-warped there after a prelude on the train to the airport. It started with someone murdered and me and my new friends trying to figure out why and who did it. No idea if we ever solved the case. The kicker is I was aware that I was sent back in time and took a photo of the city skyline on my phone to prove going back in time. When I was for whatever reason due to return to the present, I promised my friends from that time that I'd visit them and show them the photo to prove it.

I was on the way to meet them after I returned but woke up before showing them the picture. What kind of weirds me out is the photos I've seen of this city in the early 1980s look like the one in my dream, just from a different angle.

I was talking to a ridiculously hot Asian girl who also seemed really smart but somehow contradicting this, seemed actually interested in me. She was a post-doctorate student who already had a doctorate in mathematics and I asked her why?

Then we just sort of talked about the relative values of doctorate degrees and our opinions of people with them who insisted on doctorate titles. Instead of the fact we obviously wanted to jump on each other's bones.

Is this weird? It's not weird for me. I have a dream where I meet my dream girl and instead of fucking we talk about nerd shit.

My man, that's pretty tame.

I had a dream that involved flying on the back of a giant version of a white-crowned sparrow to my high school, where I apparently had to take classes again but ignored them and was worried about failing because I missed turning in most of my homework. Also the high school was a huge maze of lockers with a giant cafeteria and the science class had a lot of plants growing everywhere.

I finally put 2+2 together during the dream in a moment of lucidity and realized I didn't need to pass any more tests, homework or attend classes as I've been out of every level of my education for a decade. I woke up after that.
