Weird Dreams Thread

I dreamt I was married to Taime Downe, we had a child and lived in shack that had been badly damaged by a hurricane.

Definitely not my first, second or fiftieth choice in a hair metal husbando. But at least it was young, thin Taime and not bloated gothed up fucked up teeth Taime. What's weird is that I have never found this guy attractive and haven't listened to their music in years. I don't dislike it. They are actually pretty cool. But it's not a band I listen to very often,

This is a fairly interesting dream, man.

What's your relationship with your brother like? Were there any major events taking place in your life around this time?
(Super late reply, I know. Didn't see this until today)
I have a good relationship with my whole family, thankfully. About my grandma, well, she's very old and we are all kinda scared that she is going to left us soon, but that's just life. Nothing special is going on really.

a Weird Bird flew around in the landscape of my thoughts and he taught a strange alien's game called "foam" to the portion of myself that is Remorse

I don't remember how to play "foam"...there was something to do with a long, skinny flute, but maybe the Bird was playing the flute. That seems like it could have happened. I think humans have a missing part that would let us understand "foam".

I dreamed that I inherited a huge company from a relative. The company basically dealt with the 'needs of the super rich'. And since I never was super rich, I had no clue what I was doing. So when one client called me to tell me that her whole family had salmonella after one food catering my company organized, me laughing hysterically at her probably wasn't the proper reaction.
Needless to say, I've managed to get the whole company bankrupt in no time.

I dreamed about a piglet again last night. There is a hog barn across from my house so I think the piglets in my dreams come from the actual piglets squealing in the night while I am asleep, and my sleeping brain is hearing them. But whenever there is a piglet in my dreams, something bad usually happens in reality soon after.

In the latest weird dream, I somehow managed to have the time and money to travel to Egypt. There, a teenager was attempting to set some sort of record involving the Great Pyramid of Giza (aka the Pyramid of Khufu/Cheops) and being able to visit all the known chambers or do something similar in the least amount of time. For whatever reason, I had been selected to be one of the judges/observers to help ensure he didn't cheat in any way. I was designated as the third of the judges/observers in terms of importance or priority should a ruling be needed.

Things turned weirder as we prepared for the teen to begin. All of the observers escorted him to the starting point at the original entrance. As I left there to go to my designated location, the inside of the pyramid looked more like the inside of a fancy art gallery than the actual pyramid. Because I've previously seen the inside of the pyramid on YouTube, what I saw in-dream didn't match up with what I knew to be true and I woke up as I realized something clearly didn't look right.

I've had some weird nightmares where my deceased grandmother is alive again and chasing me, hunting me down and whatnot.

Usually it starts harmless that I'm talking to my grandma and suddenly she's getting one of those thousand-yard-stares, then looks at me, screams and chases me through the house. My whole family is there but nobody is saying anything.

In other dreams, I accidentally wake her up and she starts charging at me.

It's extremely random because it's been years since she died, and now suddenly those dreams are coming up? I've also never had any beef or problems with my grandmother at all. Did anyone else ever have weird dreams like that?

I didn't have one as negative as you did, but I did have one I previously posted where I wondered if my departed grandmother was posthumously warning me to never get into a situation I can't easily get out of.

I've also had dreams ever since my last boss passed away where she's alive again and wanting to take back her practice again despite my remind her in-dream that she's supposed to be dead.

One of the weirdest dreams I still have in my memory is when I was like 5-7. For some reason, a gigantic Jesus was tied to the moon with a big rope and I had to go to space to save him. I then got into a spacesuit, took a spaceship to the moon and I somehow had the power to free him. I remember someone in my group had to sacrifice themselves and I woke up with tears. Shit still comes to mind now and then. Oh I also recently had a dream where I lured a rat with a poisoned cucumber. Fucking hate New York.
Anyways, here is a good visualization on what I saw in my dream:

I dreamt that I floated up from earth into space and could move around slowly as you would if you were swimming. As I left the atmosphere, the wind stopped whipping around my face and it instantly became incredibly cold, like I fell into ice water. As I floated up, I became exponentially larger in relation to the rest of the universe, and the milky way became like a cloud of static as big as my arm. I continued growing, seeing nebulas like smoke I could fan around with my hands, and beautiful halos of light around infinitely complex solar systems. I continued getting larger and larger until a black hole spontaneously appeared directly below me, swallowing up me and the universe in an instant.

I had a dream not too long ago wherein I was visiting my grandmother alongside a sibling. We were all just having a casual chat with her in the living room, but the entire time I couldn't shake this feeling that something wasn't right. After a few minutes it eventually hit my dream self like a ton of bricks - she had been dead for a few years now. I said it out loud to her and she suddenly stared at me silently with this unnerving, emotionless expression.

I woke up quickly afterwards and proceeded to cry myself back to sleep.

In the weirdest of my dreams last night, I had apparently traveled to another country and I was watching a low-level professional basketball game featuring two teams I had never heard of until that moment. One of the teams had a guy who looked like sumo wrestler, but he hit practically every long-range jump shot he took during the game and he was suprisingly mobile and agile for his size.

The weirdest part, however, was his uniform. In addition to his number (99) and various corporate logos, there was a hashtag that read #BoobsAreGreat

I have had dreams with a dear friend who died long ago, and they still somehow happen. There were the denial dreams, where my friend was actually alive, it had all been a huge mistake, then it cycled through rage and despair. I do not plan on ever reaching "acceptance," though. I will not accept that the world is quite simply evil.

I had something like this happen years ago right after my dad died. I was at grandma's house for a family gathering near the front door as people came in. My dad walked in and everyone except me was acting like this was perfectly normal. I told him he wasn't supposed to be here because he was dead and he seemed unhappy with this response, then I woke up. At the time I didn't believe in an afterlife or anything like that, but now I think differently. In retrospect, I think he was in fact 'visiting' me from the other side. I never saw my dad in a dream again. Obviously I now regret my previous dream actions. Unfortunately this happens a lot; my dream self is just the biggest, most selfish idiot.

I used to have these dreams where they took place in a "tower school." It was essentially a tower in a foggy void that went high up into the sky, you couldn't even see the bottom of the building. The inside had everything to accomidate staff and the students, besides beds for some reason. One of the main details that I remember from these dreams are a bunch of students in black uniforms sleeping on the ground in the hallways and class rooms while they used their black back packs as pillows. During one of these dreams I even got into a fight along side with a friend, we both ended up in the infirmary with bruises and cuts. For some reason though, I found the semi-dim yellow lights in the hospital-like hallways to be very comforting, it was very nice to go back in those dreams when it happened.

I had this weird dream that I want to write somewhere so I can return to it in the future for reference. This dream was particularly weird because I wasn't actually in it rather the protagonist was a character that looked somewhat similar to Joaquin Phoenix from the Joker movie. In this dream he was trying to perform a stunt where he swings from under a large suspension bridge from rafter to rafter making is way to the other side. But as he's doing this a crowd on the bridge forms and people start observing the man. Initially they look at him with shock and awe, but then they later turn rowdy as they start jeering and heckling him and even at times throwing things at him. Some people even hop over the guard rail to climb under the bridge with him. The incident becomes so large that he ends up on the news where they're trying to speculate what his intentions are with this and if he's trying to start some larger movement. And pretty soon for some reason he becomes some what of a pariah. He realizes he can't escape the crowd which has now turned into a dilutional mob so he finds a way to drop into the water and swim to shore. There he sees a lone man standing on the dock with his back turned. Fearing that this man will alert the others, the protagonist kills the man, puts on his clothes and walks into the night assuming a new identity.

To this day this dream still baffles me as I try to make sense of it.
