Weird Dreams Thread

I had a dream that I was visiting somebody in a trailer park, and realized it was haunted. Most of the people living there were green blob monsters. They kept jumping out from doorways and windows, and tried to eat me. I kept running away from them screaming, and eventually they all went inside. I needed to take a piss, so I started pissing on the ground. Thankfully I woke up and didn't piss myself.

Anyone ever actually done this? I never have, but it's really a dead giveaway you're in a dream if you try to take a piss and despite pissing for a minute straight, you're not feeling any relief. I usually realize "oh fuck this is a dream and I have to actually wake up now" and wake up. It's really annoying when it's one of those recursive, nested dreams where you "wake up" and realize nope, it's actually just still another dream. Fuck that stuff, it's annoying.

Tonight I dreamed about the retail store I job at opening up again even thought we're still in lockdown because of Covid. So customers ran into the store, it was overcrowded and at some point, the police showed up and closed down the store. So the customers left. But for some reason they left behind some already mummified corpses.
Our boss shouted at us to clean up the mess so we tried lifting the corpses up, but they were so brittle that they fell apart. This apparently was the funniest shit to me and my coworkers, we started laughing and tearing the corpses apart before throwing them into the furnace to burn them.

... what the fuck, brain?

I have lost count of how many times my tongue has fallen out in a dream or my dick has fallen off, and every time, instead of panicking or being horrified like you would be in reality, I just put it back on and that somehow works.

At some point this became so obvious I'm just "oh this is a dream" which immediately wakes me up.

My dreams keep changing the story.

Even the time of day can change quickly.

It can get annoying...

I hate that I can't dream anything cool. It's always some retarded nightmare.

I had a dream the other day I was working a boring shift at some shithole warehouse. We got done early so I started to leave, but the managers stopped everybody and told us we needed to do some last minute thing. I got frustrated because I wanted to leave, so I snuck off to the side hallway so I could buy a bottle of soda from the vending machine.

For some reason this was a mall hallway that was connected to the warehouse. The hallway was really dark and spooky. There was a gray metal door that was locked, that lead to some freezer room. There was also an empty doorway that was pitch black. I could feel cold wind blowing in and out of it. I was terrified of going in there. I wanted to leave, but I was so scared that I just stood in place looking into the darkness.

This morning I dreamed I was working in a warehouse and Rich Evans not only was my colleague but he approached me and asked me out on a date as well. I woke up somewhat disturbed and wondering if that was my subconscious suggesting I get tested for diabetes.

I had a dream that I was in the White House, and saw Joaquin Phoenix's Joker killing people. I ran away, and he ran after me trying to kill me. While he was running after me, he kept killing people along the way with a knife. The chase went through hallways, a bathroom, an elevator shaft where he somehow kept pulling the elevator up by the rope with his hands and dropping it on people, and finally a movie theater. He somehow got lost in the crowd. I was locked in the building, so I broke a window with a chair and ran out.

I had a dream that I was in some lolcow sped's house/apartment/efficiency apartment (it kept changing), but then it altered between it being where I lived, a shared space, and me being part of some sort of law enforcement team investigating it. It resembled the layout of a childhood bedroom I had for a few years.

After awhile, I realized that I didn't do some paperwork at my old job, then walked into a room that had been alternating between a bathroom and a giant walk-in closet to get said paperwork. I walked down the street, which was identical to a street my grandparents lived on at one point, in order to turn it in.

All of a sudden, it was nighttime, I was no longer in a residential area, the armful of paperwork was gone, and I was at what I assumed to be a restaurant with a glass entrance/lobby that no one was in. I sat down on a bench and did nothing for some reason, then, after awhile, the bench transitioned into a bed and I kind of burrowed under the covers. Some wannabe gangster white kids in high school drove by the building flashing guns for some reason, which I could see in the reflection from the glass. A bit after that point, the lobby transitions into being a school bus parked beside the restaurant, and my bed is a seat in the back of the bus. A handful of obnoxious kids begin getting on the bus, and then I woke up.

I had a dream last night where I was on the Titanic, and I befriended a bunch of people. I knew full well what was going to happen to the ship, and apparently a lot of other people did, too, because they started leaving before the boat even set off. I stayed for some reason, but was later knocked off the ship before it hit the iceberg and I landed on a.... road. It was like I'd fallen out of the back of a pickup truck, the scene changed so abruptly. I was still upset about what would happen to all my new friends, but from then on my focus was hitching a ride home.

I had a pretty bizarre dream earlier today. I dreamt that I was on death row for an unspecified crime, and my execution was due to take place. I was taken to a raised red octagonal platform within a sound-proof glassed gymnasium. The platform was supported by a single column that was three stories high. On the platform, there were four red ottomans placed around its perimeter, with square cyanide chips on all of them. Below the platform was a line of seats for attendees; my mother was the only one present. My allotted task was to walk counter clockwise, put all four cyanide chips in my mouth and bite down to kill myself. However, instead of biting down on the chips, I just spat them out and moved on to the next one.

After moving around the platform and spitting all the chips out, I woke up. I tend to have pretty surreal dreams so this was nothing particularly out of the ordinary, but it was still pretty weird. I wonder if there's some hidden meaning I can discern from this.

I have all sorts of anxiety dreams that i have trouble recalling, mostly bad shit happening, incredibly stresful and absurd situations that i feel relief to learn were just a dream but keep me from really resting.

I had one particular weird dream where i kept on hearing the word "tsukimono" over and over. Like somebody was telling me that word and i wasn't sure what it was, and i was having a scary dreams. I don't remember much about what was actually happening in the dream, only about that word and that it was creepy, like i was in some liminal space being scared off by something. Turns out Tsukimono is some japanese word for spirit possesion , so it creeped me out that the word stuck with me hard enough that i recalled it so well. I don't remember ever hearing that word before the dream, i guess i very well could have since i am a weeb faggot and i probably heard it mention in some anime or some vidya but i never assimilated it or knew what it meant until after that dream when i googled it. Spoopy scary stuff.

On the upside it actually got me interested in the subject of yokai and got myself books on it and started reading more about it, fun stuff.

Recently I experienced a dream that really stuck with me, which is weird since normally I don't remember the dreams I have. This one was strange though, basically I was stuck lying in my bed, on my back. I couldn't move by limbs or body, but I could move my neck and look around my room. Eventually I looked to my right where my desk is, and I saw this large black figure standing there, looming over me. It looked like it was a bit over 6 foot tall, and seemed to be wearing a top hat or something similar. It was really hard to make out its shape, because it seemed like it was blurring around the edges, but it was definitely standing there staring at me. I tried to look away but couldn't wrench my head out of the position it was in now that I'd seen this thing. I tried to scream but no noise came out. Eventually I forced my head to look away with a jolt, which shocked me awake.

I don't really interpret dreams or any of that shit but I can definitely say it scared the fuck out of me enough that I still remember the weird intangible look of that figure standing over me as I tried to look away.

I had a dream last night where I was at my parents' house, and apparently lived there again. I was still an adult, but I apparently would ordinarily have to get on the school bus to go to school for some reason. However, I decided that I didn't want to go to school anymore, and, since I apparently was unemployed and didn't need to work, decided to play with a childhood dog that IRL passed away about 12 years ago. For some reason, his back by his tail was white, but other than that, he was exactly as I remember him.
