I'm gonna continue the trend of not talking about genuinely "off" desired traits.
If I really think about it, I like it when a woman is able to enthusiastically talk about something with the same vigor and intrigue as-- no kidding-- a professor in the zone during a lecture. I enjoy being able to be "schooled" by someone that's passionate about something (whether I can keep up is a separate matter).
That also means that the topic has to be something that sounds like it would come out of a lecture, and by someone who develops field knowledge as opposed to reciting talking points. So, talking about women and gender studies is out. Girls talking about anime/comics/games is a bad crapshoot at best (especially since, at least IRL, it's hard to talk about anything you think is beyond the surface of those things with anyone-- talk less girls, who tend to have different focuses), as is girls talking my ear off about some girl stuff I couldn't care less about.
(Funny thing is, I don't think a woman would readily appreciate a man she can school like that-- at least, not as a man.)
