Layla from idolmaster. Tanned anime girls are cute, especially blondes, however, the contrast in her color scheme is horrible. Her eyes are too bright. It would've been better if she had deep blue eyes, however I know they just wanted to make her "different", though, they don't realize that the design is too saturated.

Off topic: my husband made me watch some anime of this recently and it was the most edgelord shit I've ever sat through in awhile. If my eyes weren't rolling as hard as they do when I'm possed from the gory shit, I was laughing at it.

Thankfully he doesn't make me watch it anymore, but I do kind of feel bad since its his faveorite video game series or something.

there is a story there, but yeah, the anime gore is a bit OTT. the "games", if you really want to call a visual novel that doesn't even have any branching paths a "game", have zero gore, visually. kinda wish we coulda seen gore drawn in that style...

No. There is legit issues with the drawings.

Calling it a "style" is what art school frauds do when they justify their bad art.

I tried to read the manga for that in weebier days. Absolutely beautiful art, interesting premise… goes absolutely nowhere. Had to give up after spending too much money on beautiful books with zero plot advancement. Didn't know they made an anime out if it. Does it have an ending?

But for me, Michiru from Air might be the worst of all simply because of the unfortunate way her hair frames her face with those eyes you could store spare furniture between. It's like those tendrils keep her eyes from falling off the sides of her face. They're like guardrails so she doesn't go blind.

You may not have heard of this game. One ~Kagayaku Kisetsu e~ has really uncanny looking characters sometimes. A flaw that can be quite fatal to so many players.

I know somebody already said Youjo Senki, but I'll second that. I watched the show once and enjoyed it, but cannot rewatch it due to the designs. Also, Jojo's design bothers me for some stupid reason and I've never been able to get into it.
