Weirdest site you found on the internet - Bonus points if still online.

I love the standard footer disclaimer: "Women's magazine about beauty and fashion. Contact details for government agencies (including Roskomnadzor): Email: feedback form"

I checked a couple of the long form articles and they're not indexed elsewhere so it probably isn't scraped, just a little bit of schizophrenia manifesting itself.

The real question is how did you find it?
I was looking for lend lease details from a Russian perspective, I swear to God

It's not one weird site per se but the other day I was thinking about an UO freeshard I played on around ~00 (Yes, 2000-2001) for a bit until I decided MMORPGs weren't for me and I did the natural thing and googled it. The freeshard in question had closed down, but only like, three months prior of me googling and apparently not out of inactivity but because of drama. What I found the most interesting was that the same people under the same nicknames were still arguing about the same dumb stuff that made me decide to stop playing back and forth in the connected and outdated BB forums until months ago. They did this shit for twenty fucking years and frankly it's unbelievable. It's like they never moved on. There's people that "moved on" from having murdered somebody and going to prison for it in that timeframe.

Even more unbelievable is that people still open freeshards to this very day with hard "roleplay" requirements and stupid fan-fiction level background stories, complete with gothic font and everything. Who does this still? These people are obviously not zoomers because I doubt zoomers care about the 2D version of Ultima Online and set up shitty websites about UO private servers with amateur fantasy writing. That rabbit hole really just kinda weirded me out.

People still play Gemstone IV

That fucker came out in 1988. Playerbase is quite literally dying off though.

I guess you could call this a borderline paranormal experience but one time when I was around 14-15 years old I went "deep web surfing" and eventually found out something of a discussion forum where people talked about weird shit (paranormal and cryptid photos/videos/evidence, alot of occult stuff, how to manufacture psychedelics like DMT, conspiracy theories, and "experimental technology"/wunderwaffe). Specifically, I remember detailed instructions and a engineering blueprint on how to make a car engine that was powered entirely by "chi" energy produced by the activities and energy of the human body- as well as one thread that talked about colors the human eye just isn't programmed to see and how to "cheat" this (I specifically remember seeing colors I have never seen before, have never seen since, and didn't even know existed until I saw that thread).

That forum was probably either shut down or had the plug pulled on it long ago- but it was hands down the weirdest website I've been to- albeit not on the clearnet.

it's a lain site so you just kinda have to expect some weird shit, but something about it seems very off.
I love this, it feels so sincerely strange and browsing through it makes me feel both intrigued and kind of anxious. In a time where the internet basically consists of three websites everyone uses, I'm glad to find something this bizarre.

https://www.boneroom.com
All types of bones for sale. Dog bones, rat bones, human bones, they've got everything.

Anonib.com was a forerunner of 8chan, except of just creating a singular board, you would create your own "chan" that could have multiple boards under it. The reason I bring it up because I saw something on their I have never, and I mean never seen before or after. It looks liked this "chan" was about cumshots, so I went in expecting regular facials and the like.

The first board was debicated to guys doing cum tributes of children. They were regular, non-pornographic family photos of children that these guys would cum on, take a picture of, and post. The second board was photos of baby dolls covered in cum. Guys were cumming on babydolls and posting pics, giving them the "hot glue" treatment.

That is the weirdest thing I've ever seen, because I have not seen either of those ever since.

In the same vein, there is a whole wiki debicated to "boy lovers" that sometimes comes up google searches if you are looking into pedo crimes and conspiracies.

omfg i saw that researching John David Norman. fuckin cocksuckers
