Weirdest site you found on the internet - Bonus points if still online.

There is a notorious makeup artist in Russia, Gohar Avetisyan, who once became famous for doing free makeup for women with very noticeable physical disabilities. Now she makes her life something like a reality show. It used to be her website, but then it was stolen due to the non-renewal of the domain, and the "magazine" was named after Goara Vetisyan to justify the domain name.
But whats with the weird articles? Unless its just copy pasted from the official russian study website.

I came across this little oddity by chance when searching for something on google images: https://blackjackrants.blogspot.com/

This might not seem off at first, until you click around the links he has where he reviews or lets plays a whole lot about pokemon, anime and whatever else. And when I say a whole lot, I mean pages and pages and PAAGES of just whatever random shit he's talking about. Here's just one page that should give you an idea of what an average blogpost of his is like: https://blackjackrants.blogspot.com/2022/06/pokemon-my-fan-made-region-part-1.html
It's not just a wall of text, it is a goddamn word mountain.

And it's not even like he's that popular or notable. From what I can tell with him being a blogspot user, he hardly if ever gets comments on his posts, and yet he's been writing these personal thoughts about whatever for 8 years now and still going:

If these were forum posts or video reviews I think they'd be pretty interesting seeing him and others delve deep into whatever they're into, but here it just seems like he's screaming into the void. With noone to really take notice (well besides me and you guys now).
Idk if most blogspot users are like this given how pretty unpopular the site is now, but yeah. I'd say the autism runs pretty deep with this guy.
These are surprisingly not uncommon. I've encountered several of these weird solipsist blogs over the years.
I have this one bookmarked. It's a guy talking about and posting screenshots of whatever random anime he happens to be watching. He's been at it since 2007.
What's weird is that he presents it all as though it's being directed at an avid audience. He maintains a regular posting schedule and the website is reasonably organized. But as far as I can tell his writing style is very rambly and he rarely receives more than one or two comments on his posts (and the vast majority has none). I doubt more than a dozen people ever check in on his little internet bonsai garden.

Pretty sure I just found a schitzo site while hitting the get lucky button on wiby.

thewordofgod.com
Reading the META tags, it hasn't been updated, the frontpage, since August 2004. It was made with "Web Studio"

The sheer resilience of these sites amazes me.

Code:
<META NAME="generator" CONTENT="Web Studio, Version 1.0 for Windows">
<META NAME="creation-date" CONTENT="Sun, 01 Aug, 2004 08:11:35 GMT">
<META NAME="author" CONTENT="The Mystic - Richard David Renda">

Turns out Mr Renda has several schizo sites, one of them attempting to be his old professional one, but it spirals out of control later down the page.
www.totallycool.net <-- "Professional" page
www.newscontent.com <--- "News" site
Youtube <-- surprisingly normal, mostly

An article with insight about him. He was a public access TV host and thinks he's the second coming.

Mr. Doob’s website, someone showed it to me in 2011 and it had some really neat things you can do in the browser, and at the time it was pretty impressive.

I wish I had the URL, but my friend and I found a website back in the mid 2000s, it was called "Belly Chronicles" if I remember correctly.

It featured videos of a man with what I'm pretty sure was a dark fake tan, smoking cigars, while rubbing his massive exposed beer gut in a way I'm sure was supposed to be sexual.

That's it. That's all it was, just dozens and dozens of videos of this guy rubbing his beer gut and smoking cigars with most of his face off screen, as recorded on what was probably a decent webcam circa 2002.

Unfortunately swathes of foodies are using that term which has poisoned the SEO, so it may be lost to time.

Rubberman was the OG weird fetish guy on the Internet.

A pervy old beardo, he had a site called "Latex and Neoprene Variations" or something, where he got his rocks off by posting pics of himself wearing extremely bizarre combinations of various rubber garments.

The mere existence of a "surprise me" button got me interested.
A real blast from the past TBH.
I found this straight up Nazi site that's still being updated since 1998 with it. It's funny because the chick who runs it has her nudes and pictures all over it, but zero of them are from after like 2005, probably because she got old. They also posted their "music" in one section and it's just weird moaning/grunting and esoteric background noise.

This banner in particular, which is just her and has nothing to do with Matt Hale, gave me a giggle.

A normal looking bridal wear store with a very not normal website.

Came here to post about this. Turns out the site was designed by Sean Terrance Best (deceased) who was actually a relatively normal, and not schizophrenic as the site would suggest, man who did art and went fishing a lot.

Here are a few pictures of the creator:

I don't know who owns the youtube channel but I'm assuming it's a relative because it's still being updated despite Sean being deceased for several years.

It kind of steals a bit of the mystery away from the site knowing that it was made by a technotarded hippie boomer from Florida and not some kind of schizophrenic rabbithole or some of the other theories I've read on the internet about it, like that it's a front for human trafficking or whatever.

Here's his obituary.

New one I stumbled on:

Ron Patrick's Street-Legal Jet Powered Volkswagen Beetle

Basically he built beetle with a fucking jet out the back and is absolutely delighted when the police pull him over and try to figure out what to ticket him for.

Best part of the site: "You have to give the California Department of Motor Vehicles (the DMV) credit for creativity on this one. A DMV insider has disclosed to me that the DMV has made a formal request to a federal agency to rule if my Beetle constitutes a threat to national security based on what could happen if it got into the wrong hands."

He's working on a second project I won't spoil. Anyway, he's a mad lad and I approve of his work. Though I'm pretty sure this is how Back To The Future started.

genuinely love wiby. Only search engine I'd miss if it disappeared. Even if it's a non-weird website you just sometimes stumble upon walls of text that sometimes are just somebody's original research and knowledge about a topic. Also Ken Sheriffs (555 timer's) blog is actively updated and he has some really interesting teardowns on there, even old Apollo NASA stuff.

Heaven's Gate
It's run by the last surviving member of the sect if I recall correctly. He was "left behind" on purpose, as sort of an "ambassador" I think? Heaven's Gate made a lot of money with the fledgling internet and web design when they were still around. I'm not shitting you.

Here is the website.

Fucking weird to think that it's already so long ago.

He will still answer emails if you send them with questions too.
