Does anyone have any recommendations of any channels like old Wendigoon? I discovered him with his Bible theory iceberg and the Conspiracy theory ones and those are still some of my favorites of his, and i wish i knew more channels that did something similar to that (not especially iceberg videos). I watched some of his bible podcast but it felt way too dry, and i still have to watch more of the Lore Lodge, but from the few i saw i enjoyed him too. It doesn't need to be a horror oriented channel. If there's something i learned with CreepCast is that i am not that big into horror.
I really liked videos like the NSFW raft, the Michael Rockefeller disapearance and Fordlandia ones, where it's more weird and interesting history then outright creepy or true crime stuff, kind of like the Atrocity Guide channel. And his Appalacchia lights video, as his US folklore showcase was an interesting insight, especially for someone who doesn't live in the US. And his Christian lore stuff, even the "fanfics" like Divine Comedy, Paradise Lost, and the Non-Canonical Bible books. What part did you like about old wendigoon? I like Horses, he covers lots of topic, I dont especially like his philosophy videos, but others are pretty interesting.
Dime Store Adventures does weird/unusual Americana, not horror. He talks more quickly than Classic Wendigoon, but he's a nerdy guy explaining something he thought was cool, and how he investigated it. Lots of videos where he's doing his host segment in a parka, sitting on a stone fence, to tell you about a roller skating marathon (unrelated).where it's more weird and interesting history then outright creepy or true crime stuff, kind of like the Atrocity Guide channel. If you liked his true crime or Missing 411 stuff Lore Lodge is a solid pick to stick with, if you want some specific episode recommendations I'm happy to send them your way. Their Missing 411 videos are especially entertaining, if they have a playlist for M411 I highly recommend watching them in order because the context of them completely changes by the end. They also have a podcast with Stakuyi/History of Everything that I really enjoy called History Unhinged. Basically a couple of historians and some random guy trying to bullshit their way through certain periods of history with no research. The first several episodes had audio issues so if they're too rough to listen to just skip to the point where Roman Helmet Guy is no longer on the panel. I really like the Tartaria trilogy. Starts on Lore Lodge, moves over to History Unhinged, then concludes on their Patreon (you'll have to find it on Kemono)Does anyone have any recommendations of any channels like old Wendigoon? He put a help wanted ad out on youtube, twitter, and reddit and you had to fill out a survey (take a guess on where most of the applicants are from). I tried applying but I guess they didn't like my story about a gang war between Chinese miners during the California gold rush.I'm not sure exactly where he found his roster of writers, if there's a rotating pool, one-off writers, etc, or if it's just his editors, but they're all very reddit-pilled.

No it doesn't your entire point was that he took the first output and chucked it in the video. Which is why according to you it was difficult to tell what was going on using the visuals."Too clarify at the beginning of this video I said that a lot of the movments were uncanny due to the AI but here he is saying that he makes the movments out of the images that the AI gives him. So technically he is making the movments but their movments is still aproximate images. So my point still stands.

The way he focuses on time being the main problem and only indirectly adress cost makes me think he knows what he is doing but doesn't want to say it outloud in order to not seem like the bad guy.Once again the millionare not understanding that everbody can't afford to shell out thousands to artists.
I know I said a while back that I didn't want a conversation to fill the thread about Wendi but this is making some points that need to be addressed in a nuanced way(even if the post is extremely MATI).He is such a lazy POS. Later in the video he debunks the entire first half of the video when he does an interview with the series creator.
In the Angel enigne video at 1:45:45:
He shows a screenshot from the creator:

Which is such a retarded point half of the charm of an horror ARG is that it's a supernatrual obtuse mystery where one thing can have multiple explinations and clearly according to the creators
there was a lot more effort put in to the series then that. Which you would have known if you had ever used a generative AI.
He also showcases some of the messages he sent to the creator and he comes across as a twofaced bitch.

Once again the millionare not understanding that everbody can't afford to shell out thousands to artists. Now from what i remember from comisioning art for a video game. Is that ONE high quality conecpt render is around 110 bucks. Let's say for one video that he needs around 10 different stills no animation (which angel engine has a lot of). That is 1100 dollars for a single part and for the most part you can't even tell if they have used AI or not.
I wonder if wendigoon will make a video where he ponders why the homeless don't just buy homes and food if the are hungry and cold. After all they just need to launch a gofundme or launch some merch.
I may watch the source material for this out of spite just because anti-AI people have turned into such histrionic faggots that I find myself retroactively liking AI art all the more for it. Not a fan of what that says about me, but what can you do?Main channel video
I agree. I am incapable of taking hand drawn art seriously for the same reason because I saw someone draw a dickbutt once.On the audience side it just feels like pure novelty over Artisty and that's deeply Alienating to me. I don't hate people who use AI to make things, but I can't take this seriously because of how I've seen it used(shit posting mostly)
Kindly share your story for the class.I tried applying but I guess they didn't like my story about a gang war between Chinese miners during the California gold rush.
Here is my write up about it from a while ago. It is a pretty funny shitshow that doesn't get a whole lot of recognition.Kindly share your story for the class.
Figured it would be a good fit for his channel. The Battle of Weaverville is a fun bit of autism.

During the California gold rush, two rival groups of Chinese miners had a beef over mining rights and old country shit and decided to settle it the honorable way. Both groups commissioned the town's blacksmiths to make them traditional Chinese weaponry. Once they got their weapons, they hired some white 'experts' to help train them. After a week of preparations they meet on a field outside the mining town, donned in traditional clothing and flying banners while the white townsfolk pulled up seats to watch and place bets on who is going to win (few whites even joined in as mercenaries donned in yellowface). The miners originally were getting cold feet about the battle, but were pushed into it by the white spectators. About 2,000 people were involved in this shitshow and after a short battle, 20 something miners died and one white spectator was shot and killed by another spectator for cheating by shooting into the group he bet against. Both mining groups claim victory, and fun was had that day by the white spectators.

Lore Lodge is very hit or miss. He's sort of like MrBallen in that he adds way too much information to the subjects and bloats out the runtime, thus causing me to often times tune out of the video. I understand the need for building the backstory of a certain true crime topic, but I couldn't care less about the geography or history of the place where the incident happened. In Lore Lodge's earlier videos he would infamously spend about 1/3rd of the video discussing the early Native American history of the location where the incident took place. People in the comments would time stamp where the actual story begins, so you can skip it.Does anyone have any recommendations of any channels like old Wendigoon?
