Tbf, if you managed to dethrone your own dynasty without being conquered, you are either too stupid or too trusting.
Or too independent. The reason why Claudius got the throne was the Pretorians (and Senate) wanted a puppet to control and chose him because he was weak. But instead of listening to the elite and do what they wanted, he opted to listen to his long time servants and wife and do his own thing for better or worse. When he died, Nero took over and continued to not do the biddings of the elite, which got him a lot of enemies. You can be the best populist emperor ever, but if the elite hate you then you are in for a bad time.

I'd count it as stupidity. Statesmanship is always a balancing act between elites, religion, merchantile class and populism.

Meat really is either the funniest fucking man alive or just literal comedy ass cancer. Every time he brought up the penis fingers or whatever just sucked the air out of the room and he just. kept. doing. it.
Wendi's reaction was funny, just letting that die and then going to the next chapter. Hilarious

I lol'd. Anytime hunter has a bit that's too stupid for goon to even acknowledge, it's like payback for his over the top hype and autistic theory crafting.

Boy, those ghost writers from the second channel are already running out ideas.
"Did you know...Toy Story 2 almost got deleted!" yes, we all know the story. I hate when slop channels just recap information that would have never even been on their radar if their entire fanbase hadn't already heard of it, and make a video of it too late without anything new to add.

This story is frustrating because it feels like it constantly yo-yos in quality from one extreme to another. The protagonist is either a realistic and perhaps even relatable character or a genuine moron, there’s no in between. She was smart enough to come up with the gasoline plan, knowing she can count on the vampire lighting a cigarette, but at the same time she completely forgot about the CCTV cameras despite literally mentioning them moments before? The premise is extremely interesting but the connecting lore is so convoluted and extra. I legit don’t understand what point the adoption twist served.

It reminds me of all the times I heard something along the lines of "Did you know two rival animation studios made a childrens movie about ants... AT THE SAME TIME?! 🤯". It's been done to death.
A Bug's Life was superior to ANTZ in every single way, btw

2nd channel should stick to weird sports stuff, stick to a gimmick.
It should have stayed as Wendi's livesteam channel. The streams of him watching AH slop and trying to theory craft are pretty cozy. IDK why he stopped doing those and switched to reading long form reddit posts instead.

A Bug's Life may have been a better kids movie.

But ANTZ is way more interesting looking back and I suspect the lessons about the pitfalls of chasing after Utopia instead of building up your own Utopia in the form of a family are more instructive than "TOGETHER WE STRONG! WE FIGHT BULLY GRASSHOPPERS". That exact same lesson is in ANTZ in the form of them building the ant tower to escape the mass drowning, but with the added bonus that you need a hierarchy to make that work.
