It was Gothic? The Beatles story almost gives me My Immortal vibes, does anyone else see the vision?
All the satanism stuff gives it the true and honest goff approval in my opinion. More than that though, the over the top bad writing and random Homestuck reference is so surreal, this has equal chances of being either a troll or sincereIt was Gothic?
Fangs to muh fans and to da h8rs stp flam-ing okay? The Beatles story almost gives me My Immortal vibes, does anyone else see the vision?
I will always hate hunter singing.
Rules stories are, as a rule, almost always terribleNot to be cynical, but I'm watching the first few minutes and it seems like any other "I got a job in this sleepy location and it has WEIRD RULES??" setup.
No one's trying or cares to.I will always hate hunter singing.
You're not Changing my mind.
It's so fucking forced. It's like a scripted event in a video game. Wendi is such a bad actor that you never buy the setup was accidental. And when you realize they have total control over the editing, the fact Hunter can sing for like three uninterrupted minutes is just so blatant.I will always hate hunter singing.
You're not Changing my mind.
I like the story but only doing one season is doing it a disservice, the second half is much stronger and more fleshed out.Not to be cynical, but I'm watching the first few minutes and it seems like any other "I got a job in this sleepy location and it has WEIRD RULES??" setup.
Goffic.It was Gothic?
I will always hate hunter singing.

Hunter can sing no doubt about that, but it's more and more he decides to belt out a musical number that goes on for way too fuckin long.No one's trying or cares to.
The only good rule story is Kishibe Rohan Millionaire Village:Rules stories are, as a rule, almost always terrible
I'm on part 3 or 4 and it's fine so far but I'm not really hooked. Probably going to be a relatively forgettable episode. The setting is cozy at least, I like their comparison to a lighthouse
Kinda feels like it's trying to be a 'Tales from the Gas Station but with rules' but it's not nearly as amusing. Which I guess Tales from the Gas Station is almost a 'rules' setting where the gimmick is that the protagonist doesn't know the rules so there's nonstop problems, but at least that one had extremely entertaining writing up until the dark god was introduced
Hunter came off as a massive prick in this one. He forgets Isaiah is flying in and leaves him out to dry at the airport, which is a pretty big thing to forget, especially for someone he considers a friend. Once they finally get to the story, he stops it every 5 seconds to shit on the most mundane things in it, while his peon chuckles on cue in the background to validate his failed attempts at critical humor.https://youtube.com/watch?v=aKTyMR_REVs
Hot off the presses
Idk what you're trying to convince me of. I'm not the one who let's him sing. Go bitch to Wendigoon about it.Hunter can sing no doubt about that, but it's more and more he decides to belt out a musical number that goes on for way too fuckin long.
He's beating that horse bloody at this point
How does this relate to Creepcast/Wendigoon/Meatcanyan though? Litrully who is slimebeast?Mid story. Does not feel like anything higher than a 5/10, if that. At first the whole thing felt like a half-cooked attempt to copy whatever what popular on nosleep at the time—mundane vignette-style work horror in an otherwise supernatural setting, random unexplained rules, story set deep in the woods—that did get somewhat better once it moved beyond the vignettes and there came an actual mystery, and then the big reveal recontextualizing the whole narrative into something beyond whatever dumb shit the protagonists were doing to pass the time.
Fucking hated Evelyn's snarky narration. Tales from the Gas Station also had something like this, but that was clearly an attempt at comedy, it was consistent, and you pretty much accepted it after long enough. Here sounds like kind of an asshole. I'd take Daniel's goofy ass telling the story over her any day.
Also related drama.

Some people involved repeatedly talked about killing the guy. Also found this webpage ((Arr) talking about it.
