His lackluster Unabomber video and Urbanspook sperging video definitely marked a change, then his 2nd channel was turned into a slop channel with an awful team handling the videos which nobody here likes and sees as a bad sign and now he is just going full AI derangement and is actually being a cunt to a guy experimenting with it for his project. I don't know what his friends have been telling him, but his rants about AI are legit unhinged and his audience gassing him up in the replies. Calling it now, next main channel video is going to be about why AI is of the devil.
I never really got into his main channel stuff, but even with Creepcast lately he seems more and more out of it. Maybe fatherhood is taking a toll on him, or maybe Meat Canyon is just pissing him off behind the scenes. Maybe both.

My opinion has always been ‘wait and see’, but I’ve been around long enough to notice patterns and one massive pattern is that when your little YouTube hobby becomes your job you quickly exhaust the things that you were super interested in and wanted to make videos about and have to go to the slop mines to keep that job going.
Listen, if Wendi comes out and say "I hate AI because it could replace me easily" I'd actually like him more for admitting it. But his rants are unhinged, not to mention, he have audience of so many retards that he can produce utter slop and they will watch and love it. In any of his criticism of AI has he made this argument? It's the argument I'd resect AND expect from him, but none of what I've seen him posts seems to be in that vein.

The downward trend is very noticeable, yes. I think he really should just take a break and spend time with his family. Put main channel videos on hold, only do Creepcast or even just get someone to fill in for him.
It was already given earlier. It's free. It allows more people to do things. It does take time and effort. It does take a human to drive it. It puts a person in the director's chair who may not be qualified, but maybe they can pull it off. Complaining constantly about it does nothing. Pretending it can't be useful in any way does nothing. It is a tool that can be used or abused by people.
First of all the video wasn't just bad, it was atrocious. He comes off as a disingenuous, gate keeping "lol just pay thousands of dollars to an artist", and whiny bitch. This is after years long decline in quality of videos, growing amount of low effort content, more and more sponsors of dubious morality, and general turnaround from more religious and inventive topics to regurgitating Reddit opinions.
