wendy's is always hit or miss depending on the one i go to, unlike mcdonald's which is consistently mediocre. the portions are also getting smaller every year (granted this is a universal problem, if you want a good burger you have to pay $15+) and they always dump too much lettuce on every burger
fryer beep noises

I don't eat fast food often, but Wendy's is my go-to if I'm getting fast food. Way better than McDonald's. The 50 nuggets for $25 is a good deal if you're sharing with others or if you want to save the rest for later.

I try not to eat any more fast food but the one thing I'll get is Wendy's.....
Me too I've had weird food issues all my life so I try to stay away from fast food as a rule but if drunk at 2:17am nothing hits like a super dried out plain Spicy Chicken Samwhich! I specifically ask the Mexicans to leave it in the fryer for an extra few minutes than whatever the normal cook time is and since the don't have them waiting under a heat lamp for busy customers they pull that fresh chicken patty from the freezer and can make it to my specifications whenever I ask.

If you tip enough and build a nice rapport over time from doing it enough the whole crew knows how to make it the way I like. And admittedly not ordered though too frequently it always arrives kino!

I used to frequent a Wendy's next to one of my jobs. I used to do the survey on the back of the receipt to get a free sandwich, and one of the managers was thrilled I was doing so because I generally gave good reviews; she let me take the discount even when some fine print said I probably couldn't. I can't help but feel partially responsible for the receipt discount changing from a free sandwich to $2 off.

Romaine is way better because it has nutritional value, while [iceberg] lettuce has none.
Everyone knows how important nutritional value is to enjoyers of $3 bacon-cheeseburgers!

I honestly hadn't noticed that they'd changed the cultivar as well.
I'd take whole-leaf iceberg over shredded romaine.
