I was familiar with Zeurel's Vinsauce fan animations, and checked this out. Shrike and Beebs channeled a bit much of Earthworm Jim style '90s tude characters and Cowboy Bebop's Jet respectively, and it was somewhat obvious everyone recorded their own voice work for it on different equipment. I'm nitpicking it because I absolutely loved it and am very happy to see truly independent media come together as well as Monkey Wrench did and it's a full length episode. Looking forward to more Zeurel animations.
such a weird comic. I love her other comic better. Again not because the main character is some chick who is a parody of Conon but because it would work better as a cartoon for Adult Swim rather than this. :/

Imagine Azula is a spirit? Maybe that explains why we don't see Zuko's sister as an old woman. She and her group might have traded their human lives to become new spirits but may have gotten their memories wrapped out. Could be a reason why we never saw her in Korra and why she might not be dead just her body fused with the soul of the spirit. We know Spirits when they enter human bodies and change the human body to become part spirit. Who knows?
botht that special video series and the fallout boy may have been inspired by these safety videos produced during the cold war (dk if it can count as animation since its very limited.)

Huh i guess the dump fire that was the emoji movie that was followed by the 180 degree turn of spiderman into the spider verse both slapped some sense into sony and made them realize crappy, pandering 3D animation isn't what the people want. Smartly written stylized 2D is. Well maybe not, but it's a start.
SPA and Dreamworks have to be the most puzzling animation studios out right now; they can make crap in one era, then make legitimately good films during another era, then go back to pandering crap before putting out the good stuff. It’s a wild ride but ultimately interesting compared the trajectory of Blue Sky (dead), WAG (mostly an IP farm), Illumination (consistently mid tier), and Pixar (fell hard from grace).
This one hurts real bad.
