Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

On the other hand, I want to know how they got her in the show.

Holy moly.
Late and gay but from a character design-standpoint what is that even meant to be? I know it’s meant to an anthropomorphic black duck creature but the bill is drawn so small and at such an angle it almost looks like a hijab or something. Amazing how stuff like that slipped by in a 2000s show and would be lambasted by the woke, SJW crowd today.

She’s not supposed to be a duck, though. She’s based on Marvin Martian, whose face is featureless and black. I’m pretty sure that red line exists solely to give some sort of definition to her face as she’s supposed to be an attractive woman.

She's supposed to be a Martian, the same race Marvin The Martian from the Looney Toons is part of.

Ended up watching the 3th season of Hulu Animaniacs. A lot better than what I thought it was going to be after the 2nd season being ass. They turned up the creepy level on a few episodes and got away with a few dick jokes. The only thing I didn't like was the music and that's was 2nd seasons problem was. Highlights are the Norm the North parody and the be continued episodes. If you going to watch this skip the 2nd season.

I'm still not giving this a chance. I've seen the first couple episodes of its first season and I've seen enough, it was so bad. It makes Wacky World of Tex Avery look like the OG Animaniacs by comparison.

I noticed someone uploaded this forgotten gem...
It wasn't really forgotten, as a lot of people know about Alvin and the Chipmunks, but then again people only recognize it from either the 80s show, the late-90s/early-2000s DTV movies or the live-action movies.

Yes, nobody thinks of the 60's version or the record albums that spawned it.

Nickelodeon aired for a brief period around 93-94
While Disney Channel aired the 1987 Chipmunk Adventure movie, Cartoon Network aired the 80s series and both networks aired the DTV movies from the late-90s/early-00s.

And Nick used to play Lassie. I'm pretty sure they also aired Terrytoons during that time aside from the USA Network, but I could be wrong and say that it was just USA that played it.

I saw post complaining about Cocomelon/Bluey womanchildren fans before I saw Bluey explained here, and now I wanna set these people on fire

Well, WTBS used to air Terrytoons in the 80's where I saw them as well as a local station during a children's show. A lot of overlap between Boomers and X'ers with what we watched.
