I'm not where else to put this so I'll put it here for posterity. Some madman on /co/ leaked a bunch of stuff hot stuff about a Fairly Oddparents reboot in the works. The Leak includes a pitch bible, a fully drafted script for episode 1, and some sort of test clip of animation for the new art style.

All of it seems legit since the jannies were quick to delete the thread and remove any download links. Viacom are a heavily litigious corporation so I don't doubt they would have the 4chan mods act on their behest.
Well given the uptick in layoffs again, I'm not surprised yet another leak has cracked wide open. The industry cogs are pissed.
For a test clip it's not horrible but why the fuck does it have to be FOP. I feel bad for whatever original idea got passed up for this.
I know you're meming but it's getting harder and harder to "get excited for next product" when there's a 50/50 chance it's a reboot and it sucks. It's hard to even laugh at it anymore.
If makes you feel any better it seems neither Butch Hartman nor Christopher J. Nowak (The guy behind Fairly Odder) are involved. The pitch bible is mainly credited to Ashleigh Crystal Hairston (writer for Craig of the Creek) & Lindsay Katai (writer for Infinity Train). They are also co-writers for the episode 1 script and from what I've read the story is pretty good, if a bit formulaic.
What are your thoughts on the script?
Hartman may have lolcow tendencies but when it came to FOP (early fop before poof was born) he knew he had something special and made it so. The new broads given the reins based on their previous works don't sound like they'll be a good fit for this based on the new character descriptions.
As for the script I got bored 10 pages in. Thank fuck for
@Anonitolia doing God's work and reporting back on the script (I gave you an Informative but you deserve a
as well) because this was damn sure written by women. Boring cliched setup (new kid in town) and disengaging conversation. Pray for the kids this gets test screened on.

Compared to Chester and AJ, this kid sounds boring. And that's thanks entirely to being a genderspecial. I know we joke about minorities not being humans but good Lord how do they not realize by not giving these characters flaws they're essentially saying minorities aren't human without saying it?
