Not gonna lie, it's pretty based to confirm what a shitty Avatar Korra turned out to be. Fuck it, they already destroyed the entire setting for Korra, might as well literally destroy it, because didn't she end up freeing a shitton of dangerous spirits from the spirit realm at some point and treat it like a good thing?

The splash page is speaking to me more than the model sheet. Idk I think it looks cute, kind of Lone Wolf and Cub kind of vibes. Like any show this will hinge on how good of a protagonist she is. Personally I hope her being the avatar isn't the focus, I hope it's her relationship with this older person. And the story is more about how this older person influenced her decisions as Avatar later.
Since I'm assuming she's an earth bender I think the amputee angle is interesting, that's one of the few things in the setting where a disability would actually massively effect her bending, cause earth bending is all about footwork.

I don't have faith in the new team running things with this show, I'm trying to look for positives tho. This show could have a good hook.

Also new Castlevania Nocturne trailer dropped, I'm only linking it so I can complain about it.
I hate Netflix Castlevania so much, not even because it's woke or anime-esque, just because the writing is so terrible and doesn't deserve an IP as good as Castlevania slapped on it.

But goyium! The first CASTLEVANIA ani-er cartoon was so good that people didn't even complain but the shit lib politics or how if you didn't know anything about the games they left you with your dick in your hand.

They don't even feel like Castlevania they feel like bad Anne Rice ripoffs. The title is Castlevania, the castle is a creature and isn't even in the recent one? And I am surprised they didn't bother bringing Sonia Belmont in these versions since...you know...

Imo you can have lefty politics in Castlevania, it's a cool setting and vampires are a flexible metaphor. The problem with the politics in Netflix Castlevania is that they aren't saying anything, and the characters they think are progressive or cool are shallow and boring as fuck.

I am saying the castle isn't even a part of the Netflix one. They're in France for some reason. Not only is the castle a creature but it is in some way a character itself. A main character even. And it it's not in the Netflix ones that have Richter and Maria?
