The Recess movie is really great. It was actually my introduction to the show; I think we just rented it from the video store one day, ended up loving it, and started watching the show. But I've rewatched the movie more than any single episode of Recess. I love the looney-tunes moon plot and that treehouse scene is seared into my memory.
To be fair, I forgot that Velma was still a thing being rebooted. Would anyone pay attention if it were not at Comic Con?

You know what really grinds my gears about that image? It's not even the bi pin or the fact that luz is wearing the identity these hack writers have forced onto her Littdrally on her cap. It's if you compare this new design to how she was designed back in the beginning she doesn't look like a normal kid anymore. She looks like a mini version of some gender studies major about to protest the Starbucks the next time they call the cops on a pair of black guys who loiter in the store without buying anything and refuse to leave.
