Lobo would have been a better choice for DC to ride the coattails of Deadpool. But with the current woke shit, he's probably too much of a "toxic male".

Good lord Momoa!! Save some superhero roles for other actors. I don't hate the guy as an actor but three different superhero roles played by the same actor seems a bit much in my opinion.

They’re rebooting the current DC film stuff, so he won’t be Aquaman anymore. But somehow Ezra Miller is still gonna be the Flash, despite being Ezra Miller.

Late i onow but i really don't know what to make of the new ATHF movie, it has it's moments but as a whole it just feels off. It's like they forgot how to make these things and just created a generic cartoon movie, also the animation is just kind of shitty, very choppy and doesn't have the charm the original show had.

The one part that hasn't aged like milk. Because it keeps coming true. I don't think capes will truly "die" the way they practically did when wwII ended. Most comic companies are owned by the biggest corporate entities that ever lived, a too big too fail situation.
A better reason is Deadpool is a total parody of the tend he used to be a part of (edgy gun toting maniacs calling themselves heroes in the 90s) while Lobo has also taken on a bit of a parody and lost some of his edge in favor of humor, for the most part the guy still is a gruff, I never joke type of antihero.
Ex Deadpool decided not to shoot a guy one time cause his daughter begged him not too...Lobo would have shot them both and when asked how could he shoot a kid without a second thought he'd reply: she got in my way.

edit: I was wrong because of his stroke he mostly does animated roles.

I disagree, the show has edgy stoner humor like most adult shows.
And the plots aren’t really interesting. I mean, Ivy’s whole plan to transform Gotham into her Eden paradise is something she’s wanted to do since Batman: TAS.
Harley doesn’t have what it takes to be a main character, she’s too much of a follower.
Look at his relationships with Ivy and Joker. She’s an enabler, she’s constantly kissed their respective asses.
Exactly, Heroes are childish fantasies for kids. And lame fantasies for immature adults.
Not to mention, in this day and age, they can set a bad example for people: They exist outside of law and do whatever they want. Regardless of the consequences they impose on the world.
Superheroes give this fantasy that we can use strength to hurt those who wronged us and get away with hurting lots of other people along the way.
This is probably why children and faggots with the minds of children are so obsessed with them.

Going through the DCAU shows on HBO Max (I was able to finish both Justice League series before the end of the month), it's amazing how much dark and mature content was featured given these shows had a Y7 rating. There were some exceptions such as the modified Nazi symbol when Vandal Savage took control of the Third Reich and Task Force X could not be called the "Suicide Squad".

I enjoy Batman because it is one of the few capeshit narratives to actually address this. A lot of Batman’s stories are about how Batman is pretty much as crazy as the mother fuckers he fights and how his influence may honestly do more to hurt Gotham than make it better.
Take the Dark Knight where because of him taking out the mob, now a shit load of punisher-styled vigilantes in hockey pads are running around and gunning people down. He also made the mob so desperate that a crazy ass terrorist like the Joker becomes a reasonable leader to them.
They also don’t really make Batman cool, at least not in a traditional sense. Sure, he can beat the shit out of criminals, but most adaptations portray him as a lonely loser. Batman Beyond really cements how his quest for Justice made him lose all connections and have strained relationships with his kids.
I like Batman because the series actually questions if he is doing good a lot of the time. Gotham never seems to get better in many of the adaptations, and only really does when he quits. Even he acknowledges that Gotham cannot survive off him which is why he always pushes for a politician, typically Harvey, to fix the city and give hope a face instead of a vigilante.

To quote what I said about that spongebob crossover, let the kids have their fun, that includes staying out of it because when you have 30 plus year olds squeeing in delight everytime a new spiderman or mcu trailer drops...well it's partly the reason why things have gotten so bad.
Don't get me wrong I still think people can like stuff just...it's just you have to remember it's only fiction, not something to base you're entire life and identity on.
Kids can be into supers to the point of saying "I wanna be just like superman when I grow up." Adults can't because they already have (physically) grown up.
Tldr Harley sucks, Ivys a slut, and its time to pass an IRL superhuman banning act...but nobody has the balls to do it.

however many people who don't understand that a success to many streaming sites and networks is based on viewership not awards, thus we get cases of people thinking twitter=real life.
