Ah zootopia.... simultaneously clever and dumb.

I mean I liked some of the touches - like the little "tiny town" for smaller animals. But several times you can just see the SJW philosophy infect them with stupid.

Like Judy's whole, "i can be a cop too!" So how is a 3 lb rabbit going to stop and arrest a 1 ton water buffalo criminal? They could have been smart about it with stuff like "well we need smaller officers to handle things in smaller districts like the rodentville" but then we all know that would be too similar to "separate but equal" for the makers.

Hey! Here's a free tip for you writers out there! If you want to do some messaging like "we shouldn't be racist because we're all the same" don't pick a world or setting where there's literal and obvious differences between sapient beings.
Literally the most simple solution to this would just make a film about different races of the same species of animals. Apparently Cats Don't Dance does something like this but I've yet to see it myself.

Exactly. Like a movie about a dog society with wolves and coyotes and all trying to get along with domestic dog breeds - there you might have something.

(yes I also know about Beastars)

Wouldn't just having a bunch of the same species be visually boring? It's seriously autistic to care about which cute anthro animals are doing which things in a cartoon as if it's supposed to be realistic.

Is this movie a joke to you?

Speaking of which, she recently posted a response to her Instagram in the form of a comic.
Ofc spoilt immigrant kid in LA, like I said Cocos closer to the average Mexican story than this is. They're handing out paychecks for biographies and fan fiction at this point. Also I hate the everybody hates me crybullying, someone somewhere will hate you it's the fucking internet, if I reported everybody who raged at me then A Im a pussy and B I'm letting them win. It's another thing I hate bout rich emigrants from my country, they hate this place and it's people, go abroad cause of that and once abroad they act as if they never hated us and they're proud immigrants from a great country oppressed by damn whitie, the NPC poc. These "Mexicans" wouldn't last one day in Mexico, hate it really badly yet use their Mexican credentials for brownie points.

That's the funny thing about the communist interpretation of race, in their fiction they still depict the races as biologically distinctly different. IRL racism bad cause black people are homo sapiens africanesis or something, technically still human and discrimination of the same species with minor differences is bad (African and asian elephants are the same). If it's an alien species with the same abilities as humans why should I not discriminate against them, they're alien they're not human and im gonna prioritise my group over theirs (the tau). It's also a weird self report that they don't see black people as human, rather a different species of life instead of a different subspecies of human. Zootopia does this badly, most famously Terry Pratchett did this horribly all over discworld cause he was commie as well, lot of fantasy stories do this badly with orcs dwarves and whatnot, star trek does this pretty badly, mass effect does as well, Tolkien seems to be one of the few who does species relations accurately. Species differentiation is not equal to race, race is subspecies differentiation.

You sure? I have no idea which of the 41 books it's in, but there's a quote about the black skinned humans and the white skin humans setting aside their differences to discriminate against the green-skinned

Elemental gives an extremely poor first weekend in theaters, it breaks Pixar's record on worst first weekend on the box office by giving only 29.5$ millions, the former record holder was The Little Dinosaur, by having only 39$ millions of dollars in the first weekend, and it added a muted $15 million at the international box office for a global total of $44.5 million.

Another movie with little to no marketing that turned out to be average at best (which is a step up from the last movie Stranger Things) but unacceptable at The Mouse House. Either they knew this wouldn't do good or they're just that broke they can't even pretend they want it to succeed.

By the way, either you or the article type "The Little Dinosaur" but had to mean "The GOOD Dinosaur" since Dink The Little Dinosaur never had a movie.

How do you fuck up a dinosaur movie? It seems like just having a dinosaur in it would give you an opening weekend.
Simple my Goodman: You pull a first "Purge" movie. Have a premise with so much unlimited potential and possibility, and then squander it on one contained storyline, then fuck it up. TGD's premise was "what if the comet missed the dinos?" And what do they do? Make it a Boy and His Dog/Coming of Age/Cowboy Western stitchjob with dinos.

Also the dinos didn't fit with the rest of the world. It was too realistic so they stuck out like crazy.

Dude, that actually makes sense if the poor grammar was purposeful to be able to teach kids proper Spanish, so why the fuck did they not say from the start "It's an educational show to teach second-gen Latin kids to speak proper Spanish"? The LatAM and Spanish communities would have backed off and apologized real fast.

The industry is run by complete fucking morons.
I could understood in the sense not every spanish show has to feel like a PBS Kids show. But I refuse to give that point to these annoying retards. Because they want to "make history" and "be the voice for [insert people who didn't ask here]" so much no matter how unqualified they are for such a position. So when they clearly fuck up like this, treat them like Gordon Ramsey treats his adult chefs and not like how he treats his kid chefs: They have been taught to know better, THEY SHOULD KNOW FUCKING BETTER.

Almost like if you mix water and fire, you snuff out the light.

Also if it's supposed to be a story about the prejudices against mixed-race couples, maybe don't cancel out the message by including a same-sex couple and treating that as normal. Idiots.
Along with multiverses, I formally want all these fucks to stop using animals and forces of nature as racism metaphors until they fucking understand what makes a good metaphor. Or what racism TRULY is, not what they think their tenderfooted NIMBY asses think it is.

Pretty much, but when you're making a whole movie/show on the topic of prejudice and whatnot, using animals and species that clearly have biological advantages and reasons to kill one another will start to make some people raise their eyebrows at the concept as a whole. I still personally like Zootopia and the fact they didn't catch onto this makes it even funnier in retrospect.

Lot of breadtube seems to worship him, his cowriter was Neil Gaiman, he wrote a book about pooners in 2003 called Monstrous Regiment, theres the dwarf commander who wears drag called Corporal Littlebottom. Lot of his books are very social justicy like Equal Rites, Monstrous Regiment, the flaming elephant one, couple others. Its gone to the point where hes become the real progressive celeb icon of brits after what happened to JKR.

I also found this cute little short as well.
I love the independent animations focused on fantasy since I never really viewed much of it. I remember this one animation channel that had these varying stories that I always found funny. I forgot about them but one episode had like a dude starting a family and his other friend becoming a vampire after they became heroes and another where a hero loses his gf and turns evil while killing other heroes.

I'd say those explored gender roles but didn't really make them applicable. Corporal Cherry Littlebottom was a Dwarf, which is a race where they all have beards and look like men and keep their genders a secret as its there culture. And monstrous regiment had the girls pretend to be men to join the army and discussed how bad some of them were at it, when they invaded the castle they did dress as woman, withttheir seargent being in drag but definitely not passing
