Well I'd rather watch this than that shit Velma abomination, and it has Frank Welker, Matt Lillard, Grey Delisle, and Kate Micucci, making it as close to a legit Scooby-Doo project as you're ever likely to see again.
It actually doesn't look terrible enough to have been shitcanned in the first place, even if it mainly seems to be trading on memberberries. Those still beat poisonous wokeberries.

The first few seasons of castlevania (when Warren Ellis was working on it) had a few black folk in it and it turned out OK. Mind you the focus was still on characters fans gave a fuck about and Ellis is gone now thanks to those allegations, which AFAIK were never proven or settled either in or out of court.
I'm actually pretty excited for this movie, which is more than I can say for most recent animation (western and anime). It looks fun.

The third option would be to just find non-union people. The sad part is that they could probably find some sad fan that will work for minimum wage just to shit out their Batman or Scooby Doo film. The even sadder part is that he/she would probably produce higher quality than the writers protesting currently.

Well like I said Warren Ellis, who is a legit good writer. (usually) Was giving it his all with what he had to work with. Ellis got top billing,but really that was just so they could attach his name to the project. It still reeks of woketards at Netflix sticking their filthy fat fingers in it, and fucking up what he originally wanted.
I'll have to disagree, Ellis is a one-note hack IMO and most of Netflixvania's problems are due to him not some other woketards fucking up "what he originally wanted". By his own admission his only exposure to the source material was perusing Wikipedia and like he does with everything else, he brought his love for edgy dialogue and hateboner for Christianity into a franchise where it absolutely does not belong.

Nah, Warren Ellis is of the same type as Ennis and Millar. With Castlevania the problem is that it's a series where Christianity and the Church always played a pretty pivotal positive role but literally the very first episode has cackling dickhead priests acting like stereotypes written by Richard Dawkins. It even extends to petty, stupid shit like how the shape of the cross isn't effective against vampires because of its holy nature but because vampires can't comprehend complex geometric shapes or something.
This is why I can't take atheism seriously. Warren is so far up his own ass. The others too. Though credit where credit is due, their dedication to not acknowledging Christianity no matter how retarded and petty they come off as, is something to behold.
