Who was asking for a reboot of a 50 year old sitcom in 2024? The youngest actor from the original show? He's old enough to he collecting retirement benefits now.

The show good times is remembered for 2 things, the theme and Jimmy walker's catchphrase Dino mite! Which is pretty much the only thing anyone remembers Jimmy walker for at all. He's a washed up, one trick pony has been, on par with Eric robberts and (maybe) David Hasselhoff.

Looks like garbage. The Boondocks and The PJs handled this subject much better, and both aired over 20 years ago.
It's criminal how underrated The PJs is, it's great and deserves more recognition.

The ending from the comics is much better than the one from the fifth season. Season 5 was ok, but man, after having to wait for so long, it was a disappointment compared to the original seasons. The first four seasons are hands down some of the best pieces of Western animation.

You can really feel Season 5 having 3 fewer episodes.

I find it funny, but it's not really what I'm looking for in the long term. Especially since I've just finished it all. Anyone got any better recs?
