After rewatching Total Drama Island-World Tour I decided to skip the bad seasons and go rewatch The Ridonculous Race as well. It's not as good as Island or World Tour but it's solid and doesn't have the annoying drama and other issues that Action had. I wish the Total Drama series did more shows like it because it showed the potential of what they could do. It had a couple issues like too many surprise non-elimination episodes and character arcs that dragged on too long but I definitely highly recommend it if you like Total Drama. Don as the host is funny, he doesn't have as much character or actual personality as Chris but he gets a lot of good lines in the show.

The teams are also really good as there isn't any really unlikable or downright annoying team. I also appreciate the show bringing back Leonard just to have him eliminated first so all the completely original teams get a little more time to shine. The Ice Dancers (and Josee in particular) are easily my favorite. For most of the show they're not even really villains, just hyper competitive jerks, and they lose and get humiliated a lot through the show, which makes them even more enjoyable. The two of them are just really hilarious and a lot of fun to watch. The Goths, Sisters, Cadets, and Daters/Haters are also a ton of fun as far as the long lasting teams go. Though the Daters get kind of tiresome after a little while. What I really like about the Sisters is how once Emma falls for Noah, she and Kitty switch places and Kitty becomes the sensible one focused on winning after spending the first half of the season like a ditz while Emma just gets silly until Noah is eliminated.

The Best Friends are a good team but they definitely suffer the most from a horrifically dragged out character arc that just wont end.

Also I'm disappointed that two of the teams that last so long are made up from prior characters and not original ones. Noah and Owen are a lot of fun here but I wish more screentime was allotted to new characters. Same with Geoff and Brody, who come in second place. Also Geoff is thoroughly out of character in RR. He's portrayed as a complete idiot when in previous seasons he's really not like that, Geoff is a totally normal guy. He's not dumb.

As far as the other teams go that got eliminated earlier I really like the Father and Son team, the Fashion Bloggers, and the Mother and Daughter. Wish they had lasted longer. Even the Vegans were actually pretty fun for their short time on the show. The Geniuses I think had the least development and relevancy of any team, even the ones eliminated before them.

It's funny because of the tonal whiplash you get from reading the comics as she's on the opposite end of the cringe spectrum there. You could replace her with a blowup doll and it'd essentially be the same story as she is both retarded and lacking in any personality. Instead of writing a woman they just replaced the 'comic book girlfriend' checklist with a 'strong black woman' checklist and called it a day. They made sure to 'fix' the source material in the only way that shitty hollywood writers know how to: make them insufferable and a minority.

The longer it goes on the worse it'll get too, and I pray that nobody involved in the show or the comic ever attempts to write a woman again.
Especially after Atom Eve gets fat and has an abortion.

She was ok for a couple of season 2 episodes, then they backed up into making her a saintly martyr who is to perfect and good to get by in this awful, awful world (just ask her).

For whatever reason, they minmaxed all their woke points on Amber, almost as if they were deliberately trying to make her annoying. The other black characters are written like normal characters. Mark's mom is also a strong woman Person of Minority-ness, but doesn't come across as insufferable even when she's arguing with the white and/or male characters.

3D animator "Steeenah" who runs the subreddit r/animationcareer as a mod banned my account access because I told one of her spies who private chatted with me that the animator Mark Pudleiner is a potential murderer of one of his own family members and that animators in Hollywood belong to a secret "mafia" like the gay mafia.

EDIT: As of most recent, Mark Pudleiner last week put his Instagram account on Private mode. It used to be open to everybody.

Long term observation. I could do a compilation kind of report but I'm in dire straits at the moment. My background story though is back in 2021 I observed all his Internet profiles over a period of several months. I found out that there is no "one" Mark Pudleiner, but a family of several male Pudleiners acting in a family cooperative scam racket for a public persona named "Mark Pudleiner". Maybe none of them has the first name of Mark. Who knows?
