I can’t be that disappointed. Craig made it pretty clear that he was just doing these two series for a pay check as “no one is buying original cartoons anymore”. He didn’t seem all that enthusiastic about it, so as long as he got payed, I am fine with PPG just staying dead.

Good. 99% of the time reboots are trash, so it always baffles me when I see people actively want them. Granted, I thought the original Foster's was pretty bad anyway.

My autistic nitpick is treating Maui like a Smash reveal or some shit, waiting to show him at the last second like there was any doubt he'd show up. Or I could just be reading too much into it.

Yeah it's very "trailer-y", for lack of a better descriptive term. I'm glad it actually looks movie-level in terms of CGI, I thought it was going to be a huge downgrade considering it was originally a TV show.
 
The official Minecraft YouTube channel just dropped a teaser trailer for an animated series on Netflix "coming soon." I posted about it in the Minecraft thread but I figured people here might want to hear the news too. What do we think, cringe on arrival or give it a chance?
