Why did you post some edit of the original tweet, the original pic wasn't AI slop it was him hanging out in the hot tub with his dog looking right forward into the camera

Reboot tails was the last of the "good" nostalgia driven reboots. The ones that were actually decent to ok. Thundercats 2011, (NOT roar) hey arnold the jungle movie, Zim enter the florpus. Reboots for western animation at least used to have potential and didn't always make the masses groan. Speaking of which.

Yup Frankie you definitely have the look of an actually fragile mallet who'd say something like that. A look that ten years ago would have made a stupid, overly happy, soy face grin when you got your nintendo switch and probably made one again for the switch 2 at launch.

So gosylan is a spic now who cares? Seeing these changes here in 2025 really does feel like last dying gasps by a movement who's days are numbered because nobody cares about this garbage anymore. At least not enough to tune in and give people like him validation and attention.

I love how every time this tweet it brought up on twitter, the replies desperately try to remind people that this is because the character is based on his daughter and it's just like... that doesn't make it come off less creepy.

I have mixed thoughts about the Spawn animated series after completing the whole thing. The comic already had a number of issues when the show debuted in 1997 so I don't know why they didn't try to adapt as much of the main storyline as possible. McFarlane had legal disputes with Marvel over Angela and a leaf hockey player who shared the name of a fictional mob boss, which may have affected the second and third seasons. The animation holds up even if some the late 90s edginess does not (we know Clown and Jason Wynn are villains, having them commit animal cruelty seems excessive).

Look, I’m greatly familiar with mashing random concepts together when I’m bored and seeing if it works. Sometimes it does. But Aztec Batman? That’s…certainly a choice. And of course the villains, including Joker, are colonizers. Look, I know the conquistadors absolutely weren’t saints, but so much of Aztec society/culture revolved around them being conquerors who would stage phony wars just to get fodder for human sacrifice.

well you see, they licensed the character out to a mexican animation studio. this is what came back. its like the batman ninja thing they made some time ago.
