I wish we lived in a world where doing this as a boy was not only no big deal, but also appreciated by the girls.

Still, there is still media from this point in time, and since it wasn't that long ago, one can only hope that the more sensible times of our world will return and reign supreme! :)
Goofy and Optimus Prime along with Mr. Incredible are the only good father figure characters I can think of at the moment that are mainstream and still in recent memory. Oh and Charlie Burns from Rescue Bots (thanks for reminding me of that junior kino, screamlings)

Angel Studios' Tuttle Twins' dad for the more private stream.

I just wish pedowood would at least PRETEND to give a shit and remember the commandment 'honor thy father and mother'. There can be nuance to that. My own folks taught me that nuance.

The only good thing to have ever come from He Man:
Me correctly guessing what this leads to:
"Witness how he became He-Man"
And he'll only be He-Man for like, five minutes at best.
Adam/He-Man: a white, ostensibly straight guy openly mocking the soy latte life with the He/Him pronoun nametag. He looks suitably power fantasy-like in the He-Man getup and it really looks like they're going to let him not be saved every five seconds by a minority or a chick.
According to Wikipedia and IMDB, this is his first action movie. Most of his earlier roles were dramas and romantic comedies. The only movie I recognized was the 2021 Amazon Prime Cinderella, where he was the love interest.
Jared Leto is... Jared Leto. Maybe they're trying to curry some favor with the Morbius meme community? It's Skeletorin' time, perhaps? I've seen weirder Hail Mary's.
Skeletime?
We are unironically going into the He-Man/Barbie Universe, I swear to fucking god…. Can’t wait for peak autism when Thomas & Friends is set to crossover (I’m not joking).
If Sir Topham Hatt ends up becoming the Nick Fury of this universe, it'll be the greatest accomplishment in the history of cinema.

I was just reminded…

This movie is part of a new cinematic universe isn’t it. After Barbie, Mattel is going all in on a universe involving all their toy franchises. This was slated to be part of the universe:

Why do Polly Pocket when you can do Mighty Max? Lena Dunham can go suck an egg.

For me, it was Harpy Gee.
I am 100% convinced it along with that princess amethyst pilot could have become the next big hit with little girls if given time. Harpy Gee had a perfect blend of fairy magic spirit like in W.I.N.X and good character dynamics/writing like in W.I.T.C.H.

Both comic and pilot had that 00s animesque style blended with bright cartoon coloring, and I would have absolutely loved it as a kid. I believe the comic went a bit too woke later on, which is a shame. If Nickelodeon just took it back then maybe it could have avoided the typical webcomic fate. What was the official reason to not greenlight it and PA anyway?

If LA didn't produce so many shows about alcoholics/addicts with trust issues I'd probably give it a fair shot. But I'm burnt out on that stuff and they love to churn them out.
Let me sum it up for you.

"WAAAAAAAAH I'M A CELEBRITY THAT'S A WHITE LIBERAL WITH DADDY AND MOMMY ISSUES AND THE END OF HISTORY ISN'T TURNING OUT THE WAY I WANTED! NO IT'S NOT MY POLITICS FAULT! IT'S MY MOMMY AND DAAADAA'S FAULT! I'M SO SAAAD WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"

Seeth at me all you want you know I'm right.
