That Caballeros show is really funny. Would recommend it.
I hate to say I like it a lot more than the new DuckTales series but I guess it's just personal tastes.

Whether you like one or the other, BOTH are still more engaging & enjoyable than anything in Star Vs. (same regime, hence my mention of it, honestly.), if you ask me, anyway.

And, no - I don't wanna be that guy. I just gotta tell the truth, even if only to myself.

I see many people here liking more niche Eastern European animations, so here is one of the most charming and simple animated openings in my opinion.

Ha ha.

:autism::powerlevel: I used to watch that cartoon when I was really little, along with the one with the two boys and the other one with the bee. :powerlevel::autism:

There is a show on NEtflix now I highly reccomend: Hilda.

Based on a comic series by the british children book writer Luke Pearson, the show is set in Scandinavia and tells the story of the ten year old Hilda and her adventures in the nearby forests, where she meets and befriends all sorts of creatures from the northern european mythology.

It has a very children book esque style to the artwork that is very adorable and the entire thing feels really wholesome. And I don't mean in the Steven Universe or Adventure Time way, where people sing badly and people just screw around for a few minutes with no consistent animation. I mean a genuinely show that knows how to tell a good story while also being whimsical

check it out. Here is opening and outro.

Good taste - and a damn good show for what it is, to boot. I'm sure some naysayers will scream "Tumblr Art!" or some BS like that, but I love how this show looks and is written, honestly.

One of the best cartoon of all time! Way better than gravity falls! If I hear any haters saying "durr calart!", I'll punch them in the nose.

Now that we're talking about Netflix, how does everyone feel about that new show Disenchantment? I want to watch it but every youtube review I've seen makes it sound disappointing

The latest season of Star Vs. is well worth the hatewatch tho. Just finished it, the progressive pandering politics are SO fucking bad it's hilarious!

Good criticism. You're braver than I am for putting up with it that much, IMHO.

Out of curiosity, what kind of progressive crap did they pull?

Marco being a crossdresser is the most basic thing that comes to mind immediately.
I think that was in the first season as like a joke? I call him Trapco.

Basically the whole thing they were building towards was like a race relations kind of message. Basically the human characters are the whities and the monsters in the show are the poor minorities that got kicked out of their country. It's gotten so bad with this Sabrina Contugo person who storyboards the show shoving in gay and race related politics into every episode, there's this abusive boyfriend character who becomes a mouth piece for Cuntugo's mixed race angst and he basically goes "i'm so oppressed you guise" since people avoid him because he's a demon that looks and acts like a demon and also he's like the richest character in the show.

I had heard about how the show's attempt at showing race relations isn't that well thought out.

Oh nigga... I was too busy being pissed at how unlikable the MCs are, especially Star. That, and how unfunny and overly driven by overall crappy filler for a storydriven show it can be, honestly.

I mean, it's just about 5 hours, so if you really wanted to binge it you could. My opinion was that it was mostly "meh"-tier but not unenjoyable. Probably one outright bad episode. The last three episodes made it all worth it. But I'm a medieval fantasy fag so I'm biased.

I'd like to think if this show was funnier (or didn't try so hard to be or down with some SJW themes, which can be easily picked up on as you go along...), would you rank it higher? I'm confident I would, but that's just me.
