I noticed Saberspark had to cover this film.

I just recall furries not shutting up about it while others wondered why it was made in the first place.

Anybody else here ever watch My Life as a Teenage Robot? Ive always loved the art style for it.

Because Furries have no taste in anything, when it comes to actually good media, which this definitely ain't.

The Big Hero 6 show is better than the movie, though that wasn't a terribly difficult feat.

Good taste, sir. Although the challenge was making sure the Kim Possible writing alumini weren't overshadowed by the weaker Ben 10 writing alumini trying a wee bit too hard to be funny, honestly.

I liked the art-style. That's it, though. Jenny (and her dynamic with Dr. Wakeman) was just annoying to me, sadly - unpopular opinion, I know - don't fucking care, unfortunately.

I just... always preferred Astro Boy (2003, shockingly - not the superior 2000 remaster, which I need to probably watch someday.) more, moreso for having actual storytelling between its overall episodic stuff.

This show in question - did little to nothing for me, in terms of comedy. I did like the dynamic Brad & Tuck had, though - it's rare to see sibling characters (especially in the era of animation when this came out.) get along that well at all, for what's it worth.

Also the characters have more to them than "GRRRRRRILL power" and "black guy with OCD".

https://youtube.com/watch?v=QT_eQEuPscEIn terms of K-C shows and their ugliness, I find Rocket Power to be a guilty pleasure despite the cringeworthy lingo the kids throw around here and there.

The best thing Klasky-Csupo ever did, now that I think of it, was Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.

But now, with the passage of time, I somehow respect their commitment to the ugly Hungarian aesthetic they wanted... Of course, it was never quite as ugly and Hungarian as it was in Real Monsters, Duckman, etc.

True, those mid 90's programs certainly displayed it.

Speaking of Hungarian aesthetic, reminded myself of this again, made by a Hungarian animator who's claim to fame was winning an Oscar for a short film he made in the early 80's!
It certainly got the K-C look down pat!

EDIT: Just noticed this popped up, the first part of three videos covering the history of UPA someone's doing.
