I’m not sure. But I know a talented mangaka can sell just about anything. I mean they’re even starting to kick our ass with our own characters. (See what they did with the new Deadpool manga and how much it sold).

Did they really need to push Trevor's story to four freaking seasons? Two would have been enough, then we would see the effects of Dracula's curse on the Belmont lineage, with every season having a different descendant in a different century. I for one would love to see how Julius Belmont sealed Dracula for good in 1999.

But no, instead we are stuck with the queen of thots and Alucard taking it up the pooper.

When practically every company is rebooting everything, it's absolutely refreshing to see a company make a long-term investment into something new. It may be an old idea, but it worked, and it worked well back in the day - out of the What-a-Cartoon program came five shows that were beloved hits (seven if you count the Big Pick shorts). Maybe we'll get something out of this that'll be to the kids of today what those were to us.

This is a scapegoat argument. No kid is going to give a shit about learning pronouns considering they're taught how to differentiate gender at a young age anyway. It's only our generation that's adverse to it and until it becomes illegal to misgender someone (by all means correct me if there's some retarded law where you live) then this is just a boogeyman. As many have said, it’s a pretty average season, not as bad as book 3 but nowhere as a good as the first two books. Doesn’t help that the series kind of devolved into interpersonal drama that just so happens to have fantastical things happen in the background.
The only thing of note is that like Voltron, it managed to piss off fujos by not making the main character fags, leading to queerbaiting accusations. So at least it went out on a high mark.

God I hope we get something on the level of unrestrained creativity from early CN. In addition to countless reboots, a lot of the original content out feels so sterile and safe, as if it was carefully created to be network approved as possible. If this doesn’t turn up anything good I’ll have to keep relying on indie animation for interesting content.

You know you could have easily just said “That’s a PSA non canon to those shows, it’s not an accurate reflection of their content” instead of going with such a fagola argument.
I’m not even sure what you mean by “our generation”.

Speaking of what's the word on those? Has Ellis been convicted or cleared with only getting the boot from castlevania as the only downside
