What ad-blocker browser extensions currently work to block Youtube ads?

Got a message today from Youtube that what I'm currently using has been detected and isn't allowed.

I really can't be fucked with Youtube ads. Watch 2x30 seconds of loud ad shit every 5 mins of actual video.

Someone on reddit worked out a way to bypass the updated youtube adadblockers with tampermonkey:

uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger seems to work across multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome) as well as in Brave.

I will occasionally be served malicious data if I have updated Chrome right before trying to watch something on Amazon Prime, but I can just wait until the next set of filter updates and whatever hostile changes Chrome has made to try to violate my privacy and safety are usually fixed.

My current setup for YouTube is Brave with shields enabled, haven't seen any ads ever. It plays up sometimes with AdNauseum enabled.

For extensions I use:

• Return YouTube Dislike
• SponsorBlock
• Hide YouTube End Cards
• Invisible Scrollbar
• YouTube Simple Bypass Age Restrict (requires TamperMonkey)

Brave on its own has worked for me this whole time. My friend just recently got an "adblock is not allowed" popup on Brave but he just blocked the website elements telling him adblock wasn't allowed and continued to use YouTube normally lmao.

I use uBlock Origin and Adblock Plus. YT will give a notification regarding Adblock Plus, but uBlock Origin kicks in immediately, and has never failed me. I use both Firefox and Brave browsers.

Stop using Chrome. Get Firefox with uBlock Origin instead.

On Firefox with uBlock Origin I have never seen a single ad ever. I also use Sponsorblock to skip useless bullshit segments in videos.

I also use NoScript so if the niggers at Youtube try to use scripts to do some gay-ass popover "you're using an adblocker" i can try to block the script.

For Chrome you can use uBlock Origin Lite which is the pozzed version for Manifest V3 (make sure you set the blocking mode to complete and allow it permission to mess with all web pages, also if you can bare with Edge it tends to get updated quicker via their extension store if something breaks)

Otherwise Firefox + uBlock Origin or Brave and it's built-in adblocker are other good options.

I use uBlock Origin, SponsorBlock and AdNauseaum on Firefox, and it works perfectly. One of the reasons I still stick to Firefox, I have more trouble on other browsers even with apps.
