What are some truly good things that Kiwi Farms has done? - Not a trolling thread

I don’t agree with everything in the Man Hate thread, but I sure do love using it to vent occasionally. I realize most of the men I have issues with are online, but the in real life ones I have are awesome.
Kiwifarms probably has a better space to let women speak their minds than any other site on the Internet now, as most women's spaces are tranny dungeons or at least full of weird commie/idpol shit.

I felt pushed out of every other online space before finding the Farms. The laughter the forum provides purely by doccumenting the foleys of others should be enough of a reason for this place to exist, but apparently that's too hard for some people to understand.

I'm just going to echo what others have already said, but Kiwi Farms is as close as it gets to experiencing the pre-pozzed Internet. The forum is a place to freely talk about the things that the rest of the Internet doesn't want to talk about. It's apolitical, doesn't care about your feelings, and has a history of whistleblowing vile pedophiles, abusers, and batshit insane people who wouldn't be held accountable otherwise.

The wider Internet doesn't want to admit it, but Kiwi Farms is a crucial mechanism that allows the Internet to socially operate. Shame is a vital social commodity considering the huge societal focus that pratically everything is deemed as socially acceptable. Kiwi Farms consistently provides this same when so many others are too afraid to speak up about things just being flatout wrong. Then there's the angle that someone needs to be the archiver for all of the content on the Internet, so it might as well be us.

I came for the lols, but stayed for the community.
You do got a point here about this being a positive relic from the bygone era we all grew up in and came to love. This place doesn't have to be the end all be all of anything, it just has to be the right speed and we can all enjoy it.

Without getting into specifics and PLing, before I made my account I was in a really bad place mentally. Laughing at idiots and weirdos like Patrick and Ralph and Cobes helped me out immensely. It served as an entertaining distraction, which, sometimes, is all a person needs to get through the day.

More importantly, I can espouse any opinion I want on here, and I won't get banned because some janny decided I done a wrongthink. This site understands that no matter how unpopular an opinion is, people have a right to share it. This, along with the idea of archiving everything, has cultivated a community of (mostly) smart, funny people, who value the truth above sensationalism, who understand the value of facts and concrete evidence, and who understand that you must never stop laughing at the ridiculous. In short, it's the last bastion of the Old Internet and I pray it never dies, because God damn it, I fucking love this site.

I know some of the men have a big issue with the thread existing, and made multiple threads as a reaction to it. Though, I think some could actually find use of that information. It’s just a bunch of women, and @Dyn, speaking their minds on a place that isn’t jannied to Hell. The men that read it get a chance to see how women view various subjects, like dating. It often gets misinterpreted as a thread only for “ugly fat blue haired feminists,” but a good number of the women posting are in relationships themselves, with some even having kids. That said, I still don’t agree with every take in there, but I’d personally not be interested in a thread where everyone agrees with each other.

In the fantasy series The Gentlemen Bastards the thieves have a motto: Thieves prosper, the rich remember. When asked what the rich are supposed to remember, it's that they're not invincible; that locks can be picked and treasures carried away. Kiwi Farms, I would say, is the equivalent. Autists prosper, Trannies remember. Remember troons: while society at large may make you feel untouchable, this website will always be here to remind you that you are not above it all.

They are probably proud of their little shit.

But anyway, in addition to what has already been said by everyone else, especially the zoosadist stuff (I can't even look at those threads it bothers me so much but kudos to those of you who have done the work) I think the real utility of the Farms is that it shows that the old internet is not going to gently into that good night, but rage, rage against the dying the light.

It is also extremely useful for non-tech people to see how the corpotization and consolidation effects the internet, how people think, and how consensus is built. Just the trials this website goes through every month and the shit it is subjected to for daring to be an unrestricted gossip forum is proof that the tech field is so much more fucked than most even imagine.

Every society needs a release valve.

Truly hate to say it but the SRS thread. Normies don't know how atrocious the outcomes of them are. While I hope they never have a need to, if it has stopped even one person from transitioning or got someone to encourage a loved one not to transition then it did good work. You can't discuss the surgeries critically anywhere else that I know of without tranny jannies stepping in.
