Unironically, Kiwifarms has shown me firsthand how people think who I disagree with. We can be a bit of an echo chamber like any forum, but we have all types who post here from across the political and ideological spectrum. It's helped me to understand the world and be more tolerant (but not of troons, lmao).

Despite all the shit talking, shit posting, and shit shitting..,all the playful and sometimes not so playful bullying, I feel like the overall "atmosphere" of members actually giving a shit about other members, just little things like understanding and being interested in one another's struggles, hopes ambitions etc., is very noticeable. there is a great deal of selflessness present here. The anonymity helps with that a lot, even though I don't personally like it I recognize it is all but a necessity. Despite that it feels like we are much more in tune with each other than most large communities, which are all just absolutely filled to the brim with people concerned only with promoting themselves and projecting a carefully crafted image.

I don't throw "NPC" around a lot because I realize that those "NPCs" are simply normal humans who are extremely prone to conformity and likely experience some pretty heavy insecurities and are fearful of breaking the status quo, but there really aren't any "NPCs" that live here. Very few of you are legitimately mean-spirited, even if some narcissist or spineless cunt on the receiving end of your thoughtcrimes may say otherwise, and almost everyone is an individual.

I can't say any of those things about any other large community that I have been a part of since maybe the early 2010's.

Retracting my previous answer, Shadow Countering with Goonclown, heres a bunch of shit: I've been hanging out on the site and watching Josh since his people streams were first recommended to me by the algorithm, (crazy times, right?) I've been wagecucking my whole life to avoid falling into the same traps that I can point and laugh at now, and it's a much more cathartic experience than I imagine any true gender euphoria could be. When I ordered my coins, I emailed our dear erverlord to query the status of my order, later in the day he responded. It was a banal interaction, but I realized I had never contacted any sort of customer service in my life before, and now I proudly tell everyone who turns their nose up at KF that I've only ever had successful financial interactions with the site, it's very fun. But it also made him seem like a normal guy, very personable, and Josh at his most unhinged will always be more relatable and righteous than an actively hateful and antagonistic country that buries its head in the sand when it's forced to make a decision. KF is a self-regulating community, a place where millionaires and homeless schizos come together in peace and harmony and speak on the ills of the world, thats the purpose a Forum held in ancient Rome and a necessary purpose for a Forum now, here on the Internet. I don't need to say what good the KiwiFarms does, because KiwiFarms IS the good, NIGGA~

The best things Kiwifarms has done is force the two faced scum of the internet to show their true hands. Corporations, politicians, judges, lawyers, activists celebrities, e-celebrities, etc etc, they’ve all shown if they’re in favor of freedom for the people or if they’re willing to sell people out for a quick Buck of for their ideology.
The constant attacks this site has gotten, the unprecedented moves to deplaform it, and the attempts to label it as some hive mind hate site instead of a autistic gossip room continues to show who can and cannot be trusted.
But more than that, it’s shown that these people don’t really have all the power the conspiracy theorists claim they do. Because even after framing us as being responsible for the attempted assassination of a sitting senator, the site is still up. The site’s mere existence is a gift because it being here means more than any individual post ever could… at least until Null sells us all out to fund his cheese addiction
