What are some truly good things that Kiwi Farms has done? - Not a trolling thread

When there are major events happening I always come here before I visit any big news sites because I can expect a well-rounded discussion full of informative and articulate opinions and perspectives. Respectful and unbiased discussion of the news as it is happening is one of my favorite things about kiwifarms.

It also keeps me informed of the movements of various high profile trannies, dog fuckers, con artists and landwhales so that I can avoid encountering any of these degenerate weirdos in public and potentially become sickened to my stomach.

I suspect kiwifarms is also responsible for Jersh learning as much as he has in web security related shit so by the end of all this he'll probably be a tech guru or something so that's kinda neat I guess.

Aren't you anti-LGBTQ? Some people may be, but in general it's more accurate to say KF users abhor unwanted lewd behavior in public and intrusions into private, gendered spaces for the purpose of sexual arousal. These activities are lamentable no matter the sexual identity and preference of the person engaging in them; most societies recognize them as crimes, irrespective of whether the person is LGBTQ. KF users also tend to be against gaslighting children and vulnerable adults into believing they are trans without proper psychological vetting. Sexual identity is complex and something as consequential as transitioning requires professional evaluation and care.
It's always funny to me when people call this place anti-lgbt. I've been open about being gay since joining and people seem okay with it. (Granted, I actually try to have a personality other than "I'm gay and love slamming my cock into other mens dirty shitholes")

General rule of thumb is "Be cool with us and we'll be cool with you."

At the end of the day, Kiwi Farms is just a forum. It's really the users that make the bulk share of the difference.

I'd say that this forum has brought both positive and negative into this world. I'd say the biggest thing this forum's users have is a backbone. Something that has been lost over the course of the 2010s with many of yester year's users forgetting to teach the next generation how to properly use the Internet. There were some that did, but 98% of the new generation didn't learn from the old. On top of this social media, it's rule sets, and it's algorithms also played a part in severely degrading and erasing the various cultures of web 1.0 and early web 2.0, in rare cases for better but overwhelmingly for the worse.

For good, I'd say KF has in their quest for discovering lolcows has done a lot of good. Bringing a lot to the spotlight including monkey torture shit, miscellaneous pedophiles, countless networks of sex pests, and general public nuisances. With that said, this forum's users have had a fair share of fuck-ups too whether it be small errors or blatant retard moments.

dragging zoosadists and that whole vile industry into the light will always be a KF defining moment for me.

anywhere that kind of scum grows needs to be carved out, cauterized and incinerated like medical waste.

That learning that being able to laugh at things to cope might be the sanest response of all. In between "The funny idiot man said a funny idiot thing" posting, the same people also tend to be more invested in the wellbeing of the very same idiot man and the greater whole of society than the hand wringing shrinking violets of the internet who could give a shit less how many body warping operations or life destroying heart attacks and strokes befall their lip service lovelies.

Like yeah as long as you ARE ruining your life we're going to joke, but more people would prefer if you didn't.

I just like that it's one of the few places left on the internet where I can disagree with someone while still communicating with them. Everywhere else people just talk past each other and don't even try to understand the points that the person they are arguing with is making.

1. Aired the dirty laundry of some very dangerous people
2. Exposed multiple scams
3. Serves as a safe haven to speak negatively of popular (yet incredibly harmful and destructive) ideologies and fads like transgenderism. Sometimes even powerlevel about how it negatively affects those closest to us.
4. A place to read sobering cautionary tales about the internet, and how people have destroyed their own lives through their hubris, degeneracy, or histrionic tendencies. A lot of what is compiled here has doubtless inspired many to improve their own lives and avoid making the same mistakes that the cows here make.

i'd rather have a skibidi toilet kid anyways

After all the horror stories I've seen, them getting hooked on a SFM animation that inspires them to hide in laundry baskets or cardboard boxes and sing an obnoxious song as they poke their heads out is probably the least bad thing that could happen to them.

That's miles above them getting groomed by some troon or Early Porn Introduction enthusiast (but I repeat myself).

I see we're getting the Featured influx now. In case you guys missed the discussion in the TRW thread, here's why this thread exists

We're trying to put together a short list of good things KF did, that we can hand out to normies or people we want to get on our side during Total Retard War. Think like a press release, or a pamphlet, or Wikipedia-style explanation. The point is to counter the standard talking points Liz Fong-Jones and other terrorist trash send out when they're attacking the Internet's infrastructure.

The most helpful post you could do here is a paragraph summarizing one of Kiwi Farms' Greatest Hits, with links to the relevant thread/posts and maybe an image to draw interest. I know everyone wants to be positive or funny here, but we really are trying to get a useful document out of this thread.

Things that will make a big impact:
  • Allegations and evidence KF hosted that was later validated by 3rd party authorities IRL. This is the most important category, it lets people know that it's not just autists making up garbage. (Zoosadists, Trans Life Line, etc.)
  • Threads and archives that exposed bad behavior and led to it being stopped, without official intervention. Something you can point to that is universally despised. (Zoosadists again, groomers of all stripes, etc.)

Things that pique interest but aren't enough to get people to defend KF:
  • Archives of interest that are otherwise deleted off the Internet. (Drama receipts, manifestos, the Christchurch video, etc)
  • Discussion spaces otherwise unavailable on the Internet. (Women-only boards for literal women, un-jannied tech discussion, A&N, etc)

Nice things that are positive to you, personally, but no one outside cares about:
  • Our wonderfully diverse community of retarded autists
  • That warm fuzzy feeling you get when a shitpost gets the :winner: react

Things that funny but aren't helpful:
  • Getting Patrick Tomlinson to say NO STALKER CHILD over 9000 times a month
  • Documenting Chantal's slide into diabetes
  • Pointing out that LFJ and Keffals are ugly men who will never be women

I'm not trying to janny the thread or anything, but there's a million other threads where people have said the exact same jokes or positive reinforcement. It would be really helpful to put something tangible together here.

I'd put forward that the site rails against actively fucking with people. Any mean shit said stays on the site and if it doesn't you get yelled at or banned. I figure that if the farms shuts down for good something else will pop up and that something else might be perfectly fine with people openly talking about SWATing people, calling people's families, showing up in real life and whatever else.
