Just to add my 2 cents,

I love this place because it truly feels like the old Internet to me. I've always viewed the Internet as just a place people go to for laughs or talking about some niche hobby/interest they have. I personally loved to go on /vg/ back in the day to find threads about a game I was playing or even just /b/ for random laughs. I can still remember when all of the Gamergate and Trans stuff began and I never really thought much of it as they were just weirdos on the Internet. I never thought it would become as mainstream as it is today and even back then I was sick of seeing them. I loved seeing people actually be able to criticize them and the most they could do is call them a transphobe which I always found funny. Kiwifarms seems to capture everything I missed about old 4chan and I wish I had known about this place a lot earlier than I have once I stopped going to that site. I found out about Kiwifarms by accidentally finding Josh's stream one day and binged all of his videos in 2019. I still didn't make an account until I heard that Chris Chan raped his mom so I can post in the chaos.

Watching Josh deal with bullshit for the past few years and seeing him fight against all of the bullshit people tried to do to Kiwifarms really made me respect him for carrying on and keeping the site up so we can talk shit about random Internet personalities. I feel like Josh and I have had the same experience with the Internet and I too miss when it was just a place you go to kill time or maybe learn something new. I also like how diverse the posters here are. As much as the Farms opponents love to say this is some alt right Nazi website, I have never thought of this place as such. This is really the only place where I actually see people on different sides of the political spectrum argue in a (mostly) civil manner. No one here is gonna sperg out and call you a Nazi if you liked Trump and no one calls you a "libtard" if you voted blue. I'm sure there are some cases but the mods and jannies here seem to do a good job preventing it from going overboard and actually ban you if you're being a retard.

Basically, I like this place cause this place feels like what the world used to be like during the Golden Days of the Internet, and I miss those days so much.

E: Just another little thing to add but I also love this site because even before coming in this here, I liked watching some lolcows like DSP and LowTierGod. I used to binge watch the rage compilations of them and imagine my shock finding a website that has threads on them showing just how much more of a retard they are. Even when I'm bored of those two, I found so many other lolcows that bring me laughs everyday like Patrick Tomlinson. I didn't even know that Jace Connors was a troll until I came here. I legit thought he was just some retard that Team Gamerfood was trolling. I think what I wanted to add here is there is so much lore I learned about random Internet personalities that I have randomly come across before I even found Kiwifarms.

Yep. I found this place trying to look up what ended up happening to the CA rejects, namely Spoony and Marzgurl. What a rabbit hole of endless misery, way worse than I expected even though I watched Spoony go nuts as it happened. Lordkat trooning is up there too, I'd have no clue without this place.

As much as I hate even thinking about Boogie, his exposure on here was a big part of his downfall. I hate that so many lolcow assholes like him are getting 'fame' now with this Youtube craze that I blame Keem mostly for starting.

And best of all, you can stop caring about cows for awhile and discuss almost anything and generally avoid total retards (VERY unlike Reddit with the retard part).
