What are some Youtuber gimmicks that make you instantly dislike them or their content?

If you open with a energetic "WHATSSUP [enter title here]" and I hear a single whip, whoosh or similar whacky sound effect, it's a deal breaker.

Or if you overedit every single section of the video.

"ALRIGHT GUYS *whip sfx* TODAY WE ARE GOING TO PLAY RUSSIAN ROULETE.... *suspense sound effect* WITH A REAL BULLET?!? *wow sfx, zooms in on bullet loaded in cylinder* OKAY THIS IS GONNA BE CRAZY GUY'S HERE WE GO *darker screen, zooms in on trigger, clicks with a boom sound effect* OHOHO! WOOOOW YOU GUY'S I SURVIVED! *fnaf yay sfx*

-Unnecessary padding. A video that can have it's main point be summed up in 12 minutes without missing anything gets dragged out for 30 minutes to hours on end.
-90% of all video essays in general
-Troon voice
-Face reaction thumbnail
-Doesn't immediately get to the point of the video
- Overly complicated studio budget for just a person standing still talking to a video
-Fake ass moral sperging.
-Complaining about demonetization or spends a quarter of the video on sponsors.

Lately I've been getting pretty annoyed by catchphrases at the start. 'You absolute legends' or even Louis Rossman's same opening every time (Rossman seems like a reall cool guy I'd actually want to talk to IRL unlike all these others though). There's are more and more videos that you can skip several minutes into.

Mutahar's really getting on my nerves lately too with this morality policing and God he can go on for an hour rambling, I tried to listen to his manamax explanation but he went nowhere. The drama tards are going to all eat themselves alive. He also does a lot of weird edits and retakes, and sometimes will just repeat 30 seconds of footage randomly. Also 'Ladies and Gentlemen' with him.

Coffeezilla can make great content but also spends half the damn videos talking to his CGI robot and trying to make some drawn out narrative about very simple scamming operations. A lot of it is Youtube's fault for prioritizing 10-15 minute timeframes or videos under 1 minute.

And the latest craze of 'I'm going to totally quit Youtube guyzz, or AM I!??' junk.

Intro longer than 10 seconds - Have yet to see one youtube intro I would call close to good. A long intro is pure ego based for losers who think they are making TV shows.

Voice changer - Be it to make the voice deeper or it make it higher pitched, shit is audio cancer.

Non stop background music- Just annoying and nearly always from the same stock library.

Reading news story -Shit is lazy and they always add nothing of worth to the news story. If a youtuber wants to cover a news story, no issues with that, but bring something to it.

Clip channels that think people care about them rather than the clips. No one wants to hear you interject in the middle of the clip.

Pretending you care about viewers, then go on to shill something like BetterHelp or other cons.

Reviewer stories - No review needs a story, and yet to find one that wasn't worse than the thing they are reviewing. It feels like a outlet for failed "creatives" to finally make people watch their shitty stories.

i love watching woodwork/building/craft videos, anything involving creating something and hearing the person commentate on what they're doing, but i can't stand when they try too hard to be quirky about it
>now i'll grab some DEAD TREE SKIN haha hehe ain't that quirky, and [does a little skit where they pretend to cut it with their hand] and gluey-glue it to the boardy-board with my handy dandy bindly bendy brushy-brush, [insert forced channel meme]

similarly i love watching people build interesting thing in video games like minecraft, but i can't stand the whole song and dance of
>wHAAAAAAT IS UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP EVERYBODY [their minecraft character zooms around real fast and they move their hand constantly while talking] TOOOOODAAAAY I am MAKING an EPIC FORT [zooms out real fast] [anime 'W O W' sound effect] [glitter filter] LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET'S GET STARTED

This drives me absolutely insane. I usually watch these kinds of videos to get ideas on my own projects, and as soon as I hear reddit speak I'm gone. There's one guy I found who's short are straight to the point and informative. Even ones's who dont use reddit speak can be insufferable if they try to play up what a cool guy they are.

Individuals who dispense unwarranted poverty "stories" to try and seem more down-to-earth and approachable in a parasocial way

I know what real poverty looks like from personal and second-hand accounts from relatives and acquaintances, and most of these YouTubers are either full of air and just trying to find a weak link to create a parasocial relationship with the audience, or are larping because they think "poverty = being hip" and can't even create bare-bone lies.

One example that I saw recently on a short because the algorithm remembered he existed was, and I know he technically isn't a YouTuber, Andrew Tate explaining his "poverty meal" that consisted of every day eating meat, vegetables, and rice, with the occasional steak once a month - This man doesn't understand poverty, but needs to sell courses on hustling and requires the public to assume he is not only one of them but also what they can become.

This is a disgusting behavior that tells you who they are on the spot and that they aren't worth any attention.

I'd be repeating a lot of already stated reasons, but my number 1 annoyance is if I can hear the whole video is single line takes edited together. This is why I cant listen to turkey Tom. Pretty much every sentence ends with a downwards inflection. Do some actual work and rehearse your lines so you can record at least a paragraph at a time and sound more natural.

One video that perfectly encapsulates everything that I despise about a person who has just learned how to use a 3D rigging program plus their shitty Sony Vegas comes from RussianBagder.

Everything, from the over-usage of cuts, to the 3D characters killing any type of structure from the vid and the absolute lack of thought for a proper structure, like a beginning, development and ending, that I could not understand whatever was happening on screen; it made me rage quit so hard that I tried looking for some criticisms for this type of overediting and I just could not believe that a video with more than 10k comments does not have a SINGLE criticism towards it, it's like only 6 year olds with severe ADHD are watching this heaping pile of shit. Lythero is another guy who started doing the same thing and I just couldn't keep watching anything new from him.

SuperEyePatchWolf's "I'm at the verge of crying" style of narration is also extremely annoying, you're a grown ass man, just stop.

Ad reads that take more than a minute, I'm looking at you Wendigoon; although SponsorBlock fixes that extremely well. And showing me their stats for who's unsubscribed and watching their vids, trying to guilt trip me into subscribing your shitty channel.

I mentioned this in another thread but I hate when they yell lodly because the game is LE HECKIN SCARY GAIZ!!!!!1!!!! hearing a grown ass man being "super scared" about a fucking video game is pathetic. And when they shill for some scam like that thing were you can totally become a lord in Scotland or something if you buy a tree

I don't know who is worse in the video editing department, Max0r or RussianBadger. Either have simple editing like SovietWomble or have none at all.
