What are some Youtuber gimmicks that make you instantly dislike them or their content?

It may be niche, but when they make a nationality a staple/gimmick.
This one Mexican fuck (who of course lives in the states) makes content in English but every goddamn video there has to be at least 2-3 gags about "GUYS, I'M MEXICAN, I SPEAK SPANISH, DON'T YOU GET IT? I'M MEXICAN!".
Don't mind it when it's like a video about differences between cultures or some shit but when it's anything else it's infuriating.

• Constant forced humor when they obviously lack wit. Too many YouTubers fancy themselves comedians.

• Long intros. A YouTube video isn't an episode of television.

• Using music from Silent Hill as background music. This is surprisingly common. I can only assume creators do so because they're not getting copyright claims on it. That might change with all the new Silent Hill releases coming this year.

• Constant rapid cuts. This goes all the way back to Philip DeFranco.

• Is starting a video making a cup of coffee still a thing? If so, definitely that.

• Having a beard and basing your whole brand identity on that. Beardy Beard Guy with a logo featuring his magnificent beard! Your friends and family might constantly compliment your beard, but in the wider world it's just another fucking beard like millions of others.

• The above also goes for having a weird haircut or wearing a goofy hat or whatever. Simple fashion choices are poor things to base your brand on. Though there are a few exceptions where the creator successfully made their look iconic, like the Nostalgia Critic.

• Reaction videos. Depending on what I'm looking for, I have to add -react -reacts -reaction to the end of my YT searches to filter out all that shit. They're especially ubiquitous when searching for live music performances.

That reminds me, it seems that fad is way down. The absolute worst was Chris Stuckmann. I thought he there was something wrong with him, like he couldn't read or remember more than 4 words. It was almost like a broken film projector, stuttering.

The other fad I couldn't stand, and I had to stop watching John Campea over it forever (not the only reason, he is so lame), were those weird tracking shots. The cameras slowly moving around, to the side, back to front. Someone must've suckered a ton of those guys into buying insane rail systems for their cameras.. They all started doing it for a few months, and then it disappeared almost as fast.

Oh my God, even LGR is doing the beanie thing now.

When they have to be a lefty faggot and keep bringing up "toxicity" and shit like that

Also unfunny dogshit skits when it isn't some topic geared toward fucking children. You're 40 fucking years old talking about guns, grow the fuck up faggot.

Can't forget yearly e-begging and crying for the camera shit because "omg I thought I could make it as a youtuber but this is HAAAAARD" shit.

When they are talking about a movie or a game and start sperging about "back when we were growing up", "when i was a kid" or they start telling a sad story about their grandmother having cancer, they were being bullied, their dad commited suicide and their mom was sucking dick to put on food on the table but then bing bing wahoo™ came to save them from depression.

8 hour video retrospectives to talk about finfal Fantasy and it starts recounting the entire edo period of japan and the meiji restoration. Get fucking real.

If you look up famous classic rock songs on Youtube, usually the 3rd or 4th result is some nignogs making dumb soy faces with "First time hearing [classic rock song] reaction.", often with <2,000 views.

When *fart sound* every *tongue click, noice* sec- *guy laughing from the look at the top of his head video* on- *vine boom* d *ear rape sfx* needs *undertaker gong* a *OOOOHHH MY GAAAAWD* meme *pewdiepie bridge clip* edit *some jojo clip*.
This is your standard Whirow video.
similarly i love watching people build interesting thing in video games like minecraft, but i can't stand the whole song and dance of
>wHAAAAAAT IS UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP EVERYBODY [their minecraft character zooms around real fast and they move their hand constantly while talking] TOOOOODAAAAY I am MAKING an EPIC FORT [zooms out real fast] [anime 'W O W' sound effect] [glitter filter] LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET'S GET STARTED
Lol what the hell are you watching? Minecraft Youtube shorts? I don't watch minecraft often nowadays but i rarely stumble upon these kind of examples you mentioned when i used to watch minecraft. And yea btw The MCYT genre of youtube shorts is insufferable. Ultra vivid colors, Tommyinnit-tier humor, being obnoxious, unnecessary spergouts. One of my relatives used to watch this shit everday, i guess kids like quirky loud people who rage quits over small mistakes/scripted trolling.
Back to the question OP asks, I dislike ragebaits like this:

There are more examples of this but this is the general idea. Youtubers especially fucking small companies(ehem slime makers) do this shit. I don't get it why would they do this

I don't watch shorts, most building videos nowadays are like that. It used to just be some guy or a couple of people building peacefully, not it's loud music blaring as they quickly zoom through building the whole thing and then tack on fifty tiktok sound effects

What Youtubers do you watch that aren't like that?

As for your comment, it reminded me of another type of Youtuber I dislike
The "woe is me" type of content, where their channel technically specializes in something like art or cooking or something specific, but 99% of the videos they make is telling about that one SUPER HECKIN MEAN KAREN THAT SAID SOMETHING TO ME AND I SHUT HER UP EPIC STYLE, or responding to random trolls and criticism

I like to follow a lot of small video makers who don't yet get much interaction, on one hand they tend to be more comfy, but on the other hand you never know how they'll react to the inevitable negative responses once they go big

I can't recall what channel names i used to watch because thats so long ago before the obnoxious quirky retards took over minecraft yt. but most of i watched are speedbuilds of megastructures and/or modded builds.

This is a really good example of why I hate modern youtube analysis or essay channels.
If this video was made today it would not only be dragged out for 40 minutes it might even be for hours on end. You would hear a faggy troon voice explain what is happening. You would constantly needlessly see the face of the youtuber and the youtuber would make this film scene be about themselves or their political worldview. Worst of all the youtuber would miss the main point of the scene in the movie.
