We have Sonic's boots. The lower half of a geisha custom. The upper top looks like a judo kit. There are oversized gloved. Cringy ass fox mask and terrible hair style. All wrapped with atrocious coloring and design.

Honestly, FFX and its sequel were quite split in the design department. Just Nomura's works in general. It's either great or WTF.

A less offensive example would be Lulu. I quite like part of her design but I fucking hate the belts. It's like Nomura went really streamlined with the top half and lost his damn mind when he had to design the dress.

One that can't be blamed on Nomura at all since she wasn't designed by him is Eiko from FFIX

It may because I already dislike the character and I'm just biased but it's really ugly to look at. Her skintight suit is extra weird because she's a 6 year old.

This hurts my brain. It's like when you have a nightmare where the faces are all wonky. Someone might have thought this was funny or clever but it just looks wrong. Oh so wrong.

I thought she was naked at first because the bodysuit color is so close to her skin color. The chest piece looks like a bra. Everything else is so baggy that your line of sight is forced straight to her groin area. I feel dirty just typing that. There's no way this wasn't pedobait.

It's also not helped that part of her character arc is her wanting to be a someone's girlfriend and going through heart ache because she's not the main love interest. Just fucking weird.

At least with Kuja, the groin thing kinda fits because he's not a bloody kid but he's also meant to be flamboyant, camp and extravagant.

On the topic of Final Fantasy...

I'm one of those autists who like symmetry or coherency with a symbiotic color scheme. It is for that particular reason that I don't like Yuffie's design at all.

Komatsu from Toriko has a really shitty design. Posting an image wouldn't really do it justice but basically he's supposed to be a fully grown man but looks and sounds like he's 10. For half of the show I kept wondering why a kid was running a restaurant because it truly is abysmal.

Actually Toriko has many shitty designs and is just poorly animated at times

The proportions on that character are horrifying. Look at the legs compared to the torso.
