In a show called interspecies reviewers instead of a bunch of unique furry/scaly designs it's the same anime girl over and over with different hair, eye colour, ears and breast size.
....oh, and one kemono dog(?) girl who is ironically the unique one.
...and a BBW.

I think they were trying to avoid the furry autism but they couldn't avoid the trope of having the same wolf/dog copypasted over and over in a show focusing on different body types GJ idiots.

E: I'm also gonna complain that outside of her head the kemono girl is drawn like a regular girl with no fur definition whatsoever and shine on her breasts implying plain skin (Although this last argument is actually a common problem thank you for reading my livejournal)

The furry is a Hyena futa and just looks like a generic (but not unappealing) Kemono.
I only saw the first three episodes and of them the only designs that I actively hated were the cowtit girls. Boobs that big are a dealbreaker no matter the context. It's a boarderline hentai fetish show though, so can you really call them bad if they are catering to a specific audience and succeed? Same can be said about most ecchi shows.
The girls as a whole aren't bad. Most are super cute and the art is cartoonishly appealing. However, when compared a show like Monster Musume they just don't have the same iconic designs. I can't see this show's characters being remembered in 10+ years.

His mouth and beak are separate from each other. That’s not how birds work! Then again, why would I sperg about scientific accuracy on a cal-arts drawing.
It almost reminds me of that one commercial featuring cal-art style cereal mascots and a talking orange being loud and crazy, it was really weird.

Jokes aside, even though I like South Park's simplistic yet amateur-looking character design, I never liked Butters' tomato hair, besides that he is bald.

Precure is known for its overly complicated designs, even compared to other mahou shoujo series. It’s part of its charm imo. They’re busy, but usually not too garish.

Then they bring out the super forms.

I'm late for this, but what happened to this franchise's designs is fucking tragic. Maybe it's because I used to watch the first season when I was a little kid and have a bit of nostalgia filter, but how the hell can you go from this...
