What are you playing right now?

I feel like playing through Final Fantasy IX again. I'll probably do that after my visit with my sister during this week.

Until then, Skullgirls.

Currently in Dragon Age hell with my third playthrough of Origins, second playthrough of 2, and I'm currently halfway through Inquistion. I got into the Dragon Age series two months ago (:_(

I just 100 percented Hotline Miami 2 and I got an S/A+ on every level in hard. I don't know what I'll do now considering that game has been my lifeblood these past two weeks...

Do I want to try to buy a cheap 3DS off of Ebay and get Animal Crossing?
The 3DS is my favorite gaming device currently. There are so many damn good games for it.

If you are considering a used, old 3DS, if I were you I would just get a refurbished 2DS through Nintendo. The 2DS is really awesome, and you can get it in transparent blue or red. I will recommend the New XL above all else though, but it is a considerable difference in price.

On topic, I am finishing up A Link Between Worlds.

feel you, is a big pain in the ass that you have to play almost with NONE of the skills that it should be normal in every assassin, come on you have to BUY the damn doble kill skill, worse, you have to buy it TWICE, one for double kills in land, and the other for double kills in the air, that make a huge pain in the ass to do some kills like the level of the sewer when you have to kill some guy that robespierre hate, it tooks almost 7 games to PUT A DAMN CROUCH option, but like always the crouch option is practically broken if you have gear with some stealth level, the enemies almost never see you, even if you are in front of them, well im exagerating they do see you but by the time they do you can stealth kill them

for better or worse you can bypass the need of skill using ye olde smoke bombs

Okay, I'm still playing Unity and I'm finally getting to a point where I can actually kinda sorta play the game, but it is still finding fun ways to piss me off. I just completed sequence 7 (out of 12) and here is what really grinds my gears: Looking at the skills menu, it looks like I'm not able to unlock some of them until I finish Sequence 9, or so, 3/4ths through the game. And these aren't like super-god-killer skills, but basic stuff like being able to unlock certain doors and chests. And even then, I still need to collect skill points, which you only get by playing the main story mission and co-op missions. Feels just very inhibitive that I have to continue to grind through side-missions and play through 3/4ths of a game to unlock a chest that I know by then is going to be completely inconsequential to anything except earning an achievement.

I will give the game some credit though - after they finished patching it (I got it and played it launch day... that was a mistake), the game really is rather gorgeous. The Ubisoft crew really did put a hell of a lot of work into the interiors of a lot of the game's landmarks and even thought character pop-in is still frequent, it's honestly really cool to see NPCs actually facially emote on when you kill someone is front of you, or when you run them through with a cutlass. It's not LA Noire level of amazing, but it's better than how most AC NPCs usually had a blank face no matter what was going on.

And to some extent, I can get behind the idea of a more invovled stealth system. It's obvious that Arno is not to be considered a walking kill-machine like Ezio or Edward, but has to rely more on subterfuge and sneakiness. The main problem I have with this however is if something goes wrong, the game punishes the shit out of you, and rarely is it the player's fault, but rather Arno deciding now is the best time to cling to a wall, or instead of killing a guard at a window two feet above him, he instead to dive bomb twenty feet to a guard below where another seven fucking guards immediately jump on his ass.

But, I'm not going to let this game beat me.

im still in the sequence 5, i did not want to advance just to do the side mission of the cafe, now i can rack 10.000 every 15 minutes, without doing much, meanwhile im doing the nostradramus riddles to get the legendary armor

in other news i was playing Karmaflow, is a weird game where everyone sing, even the collectible items

also downloading invisible inc

I'm playing Tales of the Abyss on 3DS. Figured I'd do that before restarting Vesperia. Then I'll play Symphonia and Symphonia Dawn of the New World.

Today I dug out an old Xbox original controller (slim) which had been rigged for use on my PC. I played Dark Souls and Kingdom Hearts II with that.

On a side note, I rigged my wireless headphones for my computer by splicing an old speaker cable and RCA cables because I'm a cheapass and skilled like that, and they work just fine, even better than the old ear buds.

I got Darkest Dungeon today. I almost died in the second battle and had 3 party members go nuts in my first dungeon after one got knocked into death's door. After that there has been nothing but smooth sailing with my greatest foes being rubble walls. I buy 1 shovel every dungeon and there are always no walls or 2 walls and everybody gets stressed out. But I'm having fun and keep playing short dungeons while going "just one more."

Playing the Early Access for the revival of Eastside Hockey Manager.

I may not touch it or my NHL game on PS3 after tonight though, depending on if the Rangers lose and how butthurt I wind up being over it.

Been playing Kirby Triple Deluxe.

I was pleasantly surprised. The game definitely took advantage of the 3DS's features and made for some interesting level design. This game's Whispy Woods was also a HUGE step up from previous game's Whispy Woods. At least, the ones I played.

in my infinite masoquism i downloaded the DLC of Unity, Dead kings, ubisoft cant get their shit together, the freaking dlc broke the game horribly, the DLC map give you shitload of money and worst of it, it give you the most broken sword in the game

only in 2 hours i got enough money to buy all the gear Lvl 5, that makes the freaking missions of the cafe i did pretty much pointless, also the DLC gives you tons of broken weapons for nothing, so if you want a challenge dont play it until you finish the game

Fired up the PS2 emulator to play Way of the Samurai. Had some fun just being a menace to a local clan, killing off a key member of it and helping a buddy run off with their safe.
