What are you playing right now?

Stellaris. Like most paradox games it's a bit buggy and could use some work, but after a bunch of patches and the DLC model that adds free features even for non owners, it'll be great. Still a damn good game at the moment mind you. Mainly the AI needs work.

Yeah, I've noticed the stupidity of the AI too - for example, in one game, an AI empire using hyperlanes conquered the homeworld of another AI empire. The new system ended up being an enclave deep inside the territory of its previous owners - cue 5k conqueror's fleet being trapped there after signing peace because the hyperlanes were blocked and the other empire wasn't in the mood to let them through for obvious reasons.

Still, the game is much better than I have anticipated. Once all the crucial patches are released, it'll be time to truly make space great again*.

*I really want that developer's cap

Lately with the new GPU I have, I played a bit of Skyrim and Oblivion if only to test out some ENB's. Also resumed playing Phantom Pain. I honestly hope staying offline prevents the FOB stuff because the online things don't interest me. I much rather focus on revenge against Skull Face along with knowing full well that Eli will try to fight me, again (along with the eventual quarantine that will come and purging the base of infected staff).

I'm currently switching between DS3 and BoI:AB. I should also try to get back into Desktop Dungeons and One Finger Death Punch.

playing a couple things
  • League of Legends, though i'm more invested in the LCS scene than the actual game
  • Saints Row IV, fucking around in the post-game because the story doesn't have much replay value but the gameplay's such a blast
  • considering getting back into TERA, which i have a lvl40 character on
  • also considering buying Darkest Dungeon

Fought Sehlanthropus in Phantom Pain. Now it's time to wait and do some missions where I eventually have to kill some staff thanks to a certain scientist. Also played a bit of Dead Island. There's something fun in cutting up zombies at a hotel resort.

i am dirty casual playing infinite blade 2, oh and this weeb game called Super Robot Wars J. i need to video game better

Do it. It's a fantastic game. But beware: the Random Number God can be brutal at times. Or as the game likes to tell you from time to time:

At times? The brutality starts from moment one (I got a bad string of rolls on the tutorial mission and wiped) and doesn't let up. It grinds you into dust under its heel.

(But yes, do play it. And do be prepared to be pissed. It's the only game that I have legitimately rage quit.)

MGS HD Collection. I beat 2 and moved on to Snake Tales and after playing that for a while have decided to just go on to Snake Eater. I don't know why they removed the radar and the second mission is some real bullshit.

Story of Seasons. It's a cute relaxing little game to play after work since my workplace often gets hectic and stressful.

Getting closer to beating Phantom Pain. Chapter 2 is a let down in that most missions are just re-hashes that would of been more fitting as side-ops. Also spent time on Dead Island. Infected are still annoying as ever as are Thugs but at least latter can have a good money drop if you are lucky.

Been playing PersonaQ lately, and I'd wager I'm about 40% finished with the main stuff. It didn't really click with me when I first tried it, but I got a little farther this time around and now I can't put it down.

Stellaris will only have its AI fixed in June-July, so now I play the "New World Order" mod for Victoria 2, which bring the hilariously broken economic system from Pop Demand Mod into the modern age. Diplomacy is also hilarious - EU doesn't even exist, the first thing Germany likes to do is attack Belgium and Poland for rightful clay, Spain attacks Gibraltar every single time, etc.

Immigration system was written by someone from /pol/ - if your country has enough social policies, you will attract thousands of Arabs every other week, who don't assimilate, raise militancy, rape women and boost the popularity of right-wing extremists. The only way to stop it is closing the borders and removing kebab, but then say goodbye to your population growth and relations with the rest of the world.

Salt and Sanctuary. Despite many deaths and getting salty from some of them, it's a solid 2D Souls-like game. Oddly enough, some later bosses felt easier though this may be due to leveling up a great-sword and picking up some skills that help with a light armor build I'm using.
