What are you playing right now?

Tried playing Skyrim Remastered since I got it for free and not only does it look like shit compared to my modded original but it stutters like crazy and often dips below 15 fps.

Eat my ass Bethesda. Between this and Fallout 4 it's going to take a lot to win back my loyalty.

Using legendaries sorta takes the challenge out of the game. In my opinion, at least.

Kinda hard to argue with when Primal Kyogre gets over 200 Sp. Attack at less than level 50. The main reason I'm interested in the legendaries is that everyone playing online free battles seems to have a team of three-six of those overpowered Pokémon murder machines and I either need them or to raise strong non-Legendary Pokémon to ridiculous EVs through breeding, selective stat raising and manipulation of Natures. I don't entirely mind having a win button to cheese the Elite Four with and it helps that Legendaries are banned in those Battle Frontier esque areas that I've seen so far, but apparently not in certain online modes.

nostalgia get me so i downloaded nfs: carbon, not my favorite of the franchise but bring some good memories, Baldurs Gate 2 and CK2 with the GoT mod a lot, my console is busted and my notebook is crap, so im back to the classics.

I suppose that is valid, because EV training is just stupid (seriously, it takes the fun out of the game.)

But I don't play online battles, so legendaries aren't really a temptation for me. But I guess if you are playing online, and everyone else is using legendaries, well fuck, it would just be stupid not to try to level the playing field for yourself as well

Ah man, that really sucks. I had been putting off playing my PC copy since the remaster was just around the corner, but I guess I can wait a little longer until Bethesda fixes it (HAHA) Modders fix it...Just like Modders fix every Bethesda fuckup.

I'm actually playing Oblivion right now. Got it running with a couple simple mods. My first attempt ended in failure with a botched install of "Better cities", so I didn't bother with that one this time around. Outside of some annoying foliage flicker/pop-in, and water texture issues, it plays great. From what I can tell, Oblivion is a bit fickle, so I'm not going to push my luck any further.

Just yesterday I got down to Mehrunes Razor, before remembering that loot scales to your level. So i'm going to have to wait until i'm above level 4 to actually get it:heart-empty:

During holiday events, I peek around various MMOs. I've been playing a lot more of The Secret World because they do a Halloween event. But I wonder... did they ever intend people to be able to dress like this?

Otherwise I toy around with Civ.

Playing Bloodborne for the first time.

Getting my ass kicked, but that's kinda to be expected from a FromSoft game at this point.

Trying to complete TBoI:AB again. This time only Keeper marks remain. And boy, it's gonna suck before unlocking some of his starting items.

Star Control II.

Technically it's the Ur Quan Masters HD port which is playable on modern systems without Dosbox and is free, but wow! I can't believe I missed this the first time round. It's like Mass Effect 16 years before Mass Effect even materialised, but better, because the aliens are actually, you know, ALIEN, rather than just slightly weirded out bipedal humanoids, and the plot makes sense overall, and the music! The music! And the 1960s pulp sci-fi aesthetic! And the gratuitous space battles!

And yes, there is a race of green-skinned space babes.

Nightfall: Escape. It's some indie game taking place in some spoopy mansion in the Philippines. Doesn't feel too bad for an indie game but I could be wrong.

Taking a break from DQ7 to play Adventures in the Idol Business with SMT and Fire Emblem cameos Tokyo Mirage Sessions: #FE. The gameplay side of things is actually pretty great - enough to allow me to see past the many small shortcomings spread across the writing and the dungeon design.

Also, only in a JRPG could an eleven year old girl be far sturdier than any of her team mates. Whether that's sillier than her having a cooking show about microwaving is still up to debate.

Metal Gear Solid. I felt like taking another shot at it since I got the PS2 games at a pawn shop. Just got passed that room with the gas and the electric floor, it was the place I was stuck last time. Now fighting the Ninja.

I freaking love this game. Really should not have put it down when my psp (which I was playing it on) broke.

Third Age: Total War. I'm playing as the Free Peoples of Middle-Earth, and I'm about 20 turns away from rebuilding the House of the Kings in Annuminas and reestablishing the Kingdom of Arnor.

Been playing the Evil Within after reinstalling it. As much as I didn't like Resident Evil 5 and 6 which The Evil Within felt similar to along with Resident Evil 4, I actually enjoyed The Evil Within, not counting the stupid one hit kills you get from some enemies. The Keeper being similar to Pyramid Head almost makes me feel like it's sort of intentional since it's not only a reflection of one of the key characters in the game, you end up having a final encounter involving two Keepers.

Been playing Dishonored again while I wait for Dishonored 2 to come out.

Batman Telltales. Doing good so far, just hope there's a way to kill Catwoman. Fuck that whore.
