+Gameplay is extremely solid, a lot of classes and even the worst ones have at least something nice/fun to use.
+Surprisingly balanced and challenging, at least compared to other strategy rpgs. Ninjas dual wield is obviously OP but the game isn't fundamentally broken like FF Tactics.
+First game where Archers are actually GOOD since they can shoot beyond their normal range if they have height advantage. Crossbows are also fun thanks to badass AoE firestorm finisher.
+This game has a "Chariot" function that lets you rewind up to 50 turns. Literally cheating but i'm too old to stress over rng bullshit and enemies not droping what i want.
?Localization is so good, it might be waaaay too good. Everyone sounds talks in such a knightley way you either love, cringe or has no idea what is going on. Look at this fucking exchange:
ARYCELLE: You ignore the will of your people - slaughter them - and call it revolution!? Who do you think it was first fanned the flames between clans, then pointed at the bonfire as proof of conflict? The nobility! Better the rams rise to lead the flock than such shepherds with miters for crooks and crowns for caps. And you...you are little better than the yapping sheepdog that does his master's bidding. To hell with you. To hell!
CATIUA: She has no ear to listen. If words will not win us free, our steel must!
(what the fuck does that even mean???)
?Story is decent but it might be a bit too dramatic. There is simply no room to breath or be happy, you're constantly fighting for the last hope of saving you kingdom, or fighting someone that hates you because you killed their twin brother, and everyone is constantly telling you how evil and wrong you are because you're no better than ____ etc.
-Boring AF crafting system that looks like it was added on last minute just to add more "gameplay" to the game. Interface is painfully cumbersome and slow, forcing you to craft everything 1 by one with chance to fail, not to mention requires tons of materials.
-You need to use items in order to change class. That's really really really stupid, especially if i don't have them unlocked on the shop yet. Unique class items can only be dropped from certain battles.
-Instead of leveling up characters you level up THE CLASS, which sounds good on paper until you realize that whenever you unlock a new class you have to train them all of them from the start. I want to use a warlock because it's much better than my wizard but if i want to i have to train it from level 1 to 15, this is unforgivable.
