What are you playing right now?

Been playing the Battlefront II beta, and I think it's a much more faithful successor to the originals than 2015 was.

The Starfighter Assault mode is really fun, makes me wish for a Rogue Squadron reboot.

Decided to fire up my Skyrim Ultimate edition this morning, and boy howdy did it give me the feels. I mainly like using magic, am level 64, and found out that there are still relatively large swaths of the map I still haven't explored. Keeping in mind that I've completed 95% of the achievements, this actually shocked me. Jeeze I love this game.

That's the magic of Bethesda games, there's always something new that you can discover on future playthroughs.

Having said that, I'm thinking of going back to Fallout 4 after I'm done with Fable III.

Fable III isn't that bad.

Well, it's not as bad as I remembered it being. It functions at least, it just does things worse than Fable II.

It's still got like, characters and werewolves and cornering the housing market, it's just that all the bits in-between the bits where things happen are worse than before.

Just about to start Uncharted: The lost legacy.

Also the Fable series was always dope in an endearing goofball kind of way. The sections with the crawler in Fable 3 were GOAT stuff.

Voice acting's always been alright - I'll always remember the merchant's voice from 1 because it was silly and stuck with me, and in 2 they got actual people to voice people, and even more in 3.

To be honest, I don't see how a new Fable is all that unlikely. Microsoft refused to sell Lionhead because potential buyers wanted the Fable IP as well, the series has a sizable fanbase (enough to be considered one of the Xbox's most popular exclusives), and it's an RPG/Action Adventure series that adds variety for the exclusive lineup.

It might take years to find a new developer (be it first or third party) or open a new development studio, but I have a feeling that the series will return in the future. If it does, we can only hope that the new one is like the main series and not another spinoff that no one wanted.

I rented Evil Within 2. An hour or two in and so far it's much better than the first. I'll play a few more hours and see.

Ghost Recon Wildands PvP.

It's actually really fucking fun, especially considering how mediocre the PvE was. It's a shame it couldn't've came 6 months ago when the game was released. Maybe then it would've had more than 10k players.
 
Rising Storm 2, been doing the beta test for the Aussie release. Also been working on my backlog and finishing off The Saboteur soon. Not sure what I want to do next, thinking maybe a weeb game to round off my latest batch of western games I finished off.
