What are you playing right now?

just finished Doki Doki Literature Club earlier tonight, it was more of a VN than a game but it was fucking wild, the good ending actually made me a bit sad too.

If you like self aware horror games that actively fuck with their own UI/gamefiles definitely give it a look, I went in knowing what to expect and was still genuinely uncomfortable a few times over the course of the story. It's completely free too.

Just Monika

I did not expect to enjoy this game, or get as many :feels: as I did from it.

Wow. What a ride. From a guy who was previously best known for making a SUPER SMASH BROS MOD, what the hell.

Heroes of Newerth/ Of the storm- Because i want to hate myself.
Ruiner
Wow
Deathwing
going through all the fire emblems

God, I remember HoN. I play DotA (shameful) and still miss some of the wilder heroes.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Fire emblem warriors I gotta admit it's pretty good I like the story, the roaming and the fact it brings characters from previous titled together

Dove into the Kaiserreich mod in Hearts of Iron IV. Enjoyed most of my time playing it, but I'm getting ready for a challenge: Play as the United States, start the 2nd ACW with Doug MacArthur, and go to war with the Entente. Knowing how shitty of a position that the US is at the beginning of the 2nd ACW, even with planning, it's going to be a rough playthrough.

Sonic Adventure on my Xbox One. I finished up Knuckles' story yesterday and should get around to finishing the game.

Honestly, my opinion on Sonic Adventure is this;
For its time it was impressive, but multiple glitches, camera issues, and some outright stupid decisions in gameplay make it slightly hard to go back to after all these years.

Anyone agree?
I recently finished Adventure 2 on PS3 and I agree these games have aged horrible. Gameplay holds up enough to keep from being unplayable, but holy crap the technical problems are impossible to ignore at times. I'd say Heroes aged better then the adventure games.

As my current gaming nonsense I just messing around with YGOPro until Mario odyssey comes out.

ELEX.

Open world post-comet impact adventure from the makers of Gothic and Risen, in which magic Vikings, a machine cult, Mad Max types, and drug-addicted super soldiers battle for dominance. Rough around the edges, and tough as old boots to begin with (because your character is presumed dead and has effectively lost all his powers and equipment and is basically a normie thrown into a world where everyone wants to kill him, including the wildlife) and rather stiff in terms of animations and voice acting, but has a quite compelling plot (so far), excellent world building, and not a fetch quest or collectible in sight - every quest has an effect on the game world in some way and means something; followers have their own quests for you and how much or little they like you seems to have an effect on the world as a whole, and similar.

Worth playing, though prepare to get eaten by packs of giant mass rats and murderous armoured dinosaurs an awful lot to begin with. There is also no level scaling for enemies and high level baddies can and will wander into low level areas.

I like some things better in Sonic Adventure 2 but the thing that disappointed me was how each level was designed with only one pair of characters in mind whereas, in the first Sonic Adventure, I liked how you could play each level differently with different characters.

I also didn't like how there were no Big the Cat fishing levels in the sequel. I don't care if this is a minority opinion, I enjoyed the fishing levels in the first game.

Since it's Halloween, Ghost Master, a very underrated game from 2003 which was about controlling a team of ghosts and fulfilling various objectives, ranging from "Scare the crap out of everyone" to "Make an arrogant Mafia don believe in ghosts", among other things:

Playing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl with the starter pack mod. Makes the game look amazing and fixes a lot of the bugs.

That looks very much like an updated version of EA's The Haunting for Sega Genesis.

I played Hotline Miami one and two not long ago, an could go on sperging about how the first one is a perfect game.

I just got Tooth and Tail, a game that answers where furries get meat in an all-animal society. The rich decide, so the people try a revolution to make it a democratic process. Think the Russian Revolution meets furries, but with cannibalism. It actually plays differently than other RTS games and the matches are pretty fast-paced. I'd honestly give it a recommendation if you have $20 to spare.

I started playing Star Ocean: Until the end of time. A JRPG from the early 2000s where the age shows its ugly head. like audio mixing is ass, I can barely hear the characters at times. i also find weird that the game wants you to play it more slow then other action RPG. But it manged to entertain me.
