What are you playing right now?

Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason, but so far I'm struggling to get the game to not crash every few minutes near the end of the game. The first half was running perfectly, but now I'd be lucky to not crash every time a monster shows up. Other than technical issues, it's a real scary and interesting game for sure. DEFINITELY needs a remaster from New Blood Interactive or Nightdive Studios.

Update: After manning up and pushing past the crashes, I finished the game. I must say, this might have been one of the most unexpected and surprisingly happy endings I have ever had the pleasure of seeing, especially after the relentless terror and mind fuckery of the game thus far. I would wholeheartedly recommend the game to anybody willing to put up with technical issues and is interested in a walking simulator with some good shooting mechanics and an excellent and painfully human story that isn't plagued by the same trends as recent walking sims have shown. I will provide a download link for the game down below, but there's a password as well, so I'll put it there too.

Hopped onto Witcher 2 right after finishing Witcher 1. I'm having a hard time grappling with the combat because Geralt's reaction times are so slow. I get that you're supposed to roll away and be evasive, but the movement feels far too sluggish for that to be effective. And half the time I get hit, there's almost no feedback so I don't realize I got hit until I glance at the health bar. It feels all over the place.

I dunno, I'm hoping for it to click at some point, but so far I'm finding it inferior to the first.

I'm finishing off Spider-Man by doing the side-missions and research stations. I'm also almost halfway through Saints Row 3 Remastered.

The Rim Jobs exploit works, so you can have an almost indestructible tank at the beginning of the game.

I'm trying out that Xbox game pass for PC because they had Mechwarrior 5, which was fun for the first few missions because multiplayer. Now it's just sort of bleh. Really unpolished.

Been playing outer worlds a little bit. It's no New Vegas, I'll say that. So far I'm thoroughly underwhelmed.

I'll be back to playing some turn based RPG in no time.

Serious Sam. Trying to get all the achievements in classic revolution. It's a lot of fun really.

Quake Champions. Quake 1 & 2. Dusk. Wrath early access. Yu Gi Oh duel links.

Trying to set up a "BoomerShooterSaturday" like a recurring PvP party for anyone tired of CoD and Overwatch. Don't ask to play Yu Gi Oh, that's just for me to fish exceptional reactions to Exodia in 2020.

Worms Armageddon. Been years since I've played a Worms game, 2D or 3D. And I'm getting used to how the game works on PC. It's cool to see people still play the game online years after its release.

Currently pushing through Dark Souls 2 SotFS on PS4. I don't want to pay for Sony's online, so I've been going solo. Doing a hex build so it's not hard at all even on NG+. I never played DS 2 to 100% completion unlike the other Souls games, so I figured now is a better time than ever to do so.

played through Rockman X5 and X6 through legacy collection. legit finished X6 100% without the Ultimate Armor, but fuck X5 with the Gaea armor.
pic related, not mine by the way.

fucking hell, now I remember why i always do the ultimate armor trick in these games. when I was a kid

To be fair, Witcher 1 was done on a shoestring budget. This is why there is one subterranean and one cave map, with just rockfalls plonked in different places to give the impression of there being more than there is. Ditto how all the interiors of townhouses look the same. Even the bars and pubs are the same map with different layouts and the exit doors in different orientations.

We didn't even get full English voice acting until the Enhanced Edition because they didn't expect it to sell well enough outside Eastern Europe to be worth it.

The Witcher 1 used a customized version of Biowares Neverwinter Nights engine, so of course it was going to be rough.

An update on Witcher 2. The combat is starting to click for me. It's not great by any stretch, but it gets much better once you put a few talents into swordsmanship. I also like the story's pacing a lot better. 1's story was great, but it only really picked up in the second half while in 2 it feels like stuff is happening at a much more reasonable pace.

Just got destroy all humans for free off Xbox live gold. In excited to try it it was one of those games I knew about back in the day but never got to play personally. Can't wait for the remake later this year.

New Vegas for the sixth or seventh time. Trying to do everything I can before setting foot in Freeside. It's been pretty fun.

I've gone and started playing new vegas again I just finished the black mountain quest and got best companion Raul

pillers of eternity as a chanter. just BTFO the adra dragon. im the king of the castle now bitch! thinking of taking a break before playing the white march so i wont burn myself out.

Taking a small break from The Witcher 3 so that I can play a bit of Star Wars: KOTOR II with The Restoration Content Mod, the Droid Factory on M4-78, and the Extended Jedi Enclave mod. I also added A.I. upscaled textures and cutscenes to make the game a little bit easier on the eyes.

First time playing with these mods, can't wait to see the story changes.
