What are you playing right now?

I know I'm way behind the "fad" surrounding it but I'm finally playing Undertale again because of all the hype with Deltarune. According to my Steam account the last time I played this game was five years ago but I never finished it since I got about halfway thru the game in Hotland before I stopped playing for whatever reason. I know it's a short game but I've only been playing it in small bursts due to my job and other things I got going on right now.

I've been on a Castlevania kick lately because of the Advance collection. I'm currently playing Circle of the Moon. I already finished Aria of Sorrow and Harmony of Dissonance, and I started Symphony of the Night again.

I've finished the campaign of Aliens: Fireteam. I hope the studio adds crossplay soon because on PC the game seems to have a low playercount so it's hard to find people.

Playing Call of Cthulhu, the adventure/survival/walking sim. Whilst the presentation is good and some of the characters have well written moments, I enjoyed the gameplay of The Sinking City a lot more. SC was stupid by cramming everything Lovecraft related into a soup dish of an open world (should have been separated cases like the Sherlock Holmes games), but working out clues without too much handholding was a lot more fun than some of the puzzles in this.

Stranger of Paradise demo came out for Xbox. A little late for Squeenix to toss out a Souls-like but whatever. Not bad but I instinctively choose Jap audio when given the option and accidentally lost out on the edge.

Not sure if visual novels count as games here, but I just got done playing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and It was really good. I loved the characters, and the story was very compelling. The only thing I didn't really like was the ending, I thought it was pretty meh. But overall 9/10. Hoping the next 2 games are just as good.

2 is the worst one in my opinion because the setting kills it for me (it literally takes place in an island resort and the ending is even worse than the 1st's), 3 is the best one. Whatever you do, stay away from Ultra Despair Girls; it's a basic third person shooter with the Danganronpa name slapped on it just to sell itself.

Back on topic, I finished Library of Ruina and damn that game has sick music. My only problem is that the "lobby" music (menu music or whatever it is called when you're building decks) is too short and it ends up being repetitive. Also Yesod's floor fries my shitty laptop.

Moving to TWEWY NEO now, which I hope is as good as the original.

The nameless mod released on steam a few days ago so I've actually been playing that. I've also given the leaked version of dread a whirl.

Red Dead Redemption 2, good game but the weapon thing qwirks are annoying as fuck. Gotta fiddle with your loadout almost every time you hop off your horse and your either pressing the fire button twice as much or constantly releasing the aim button because you have to manually cock your weapons.

I hope them realismfags are fucking happy.

I’ve been playing Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania on Switch since I liked the OG series, it’s an okay port but a lot of what people would’ve liked to see in the base game (like the original music and skins based off of the original games) is either locked to the digital deluxe edition or payed for seperately. I’ve also heard that the mini-games play like shit but I was never interested in those.

I also decided to bite the bullet and try Pokemon Unite. It’s not too bad but having something that Tencent had a hand in developing on my Switch still feels weird (but probably safer than putting it on my tablet or phone). The microtransactions are ass but thankfully a lot of it is just for cosmetics.

I'm playing through the Siren games because my friend doesn't like games with stealth but wants to see the stories. I haven't played the first in a longass time, but fortunately I remember a lot of the enemy patterns. It's still fun and I like that some Russian translated the Siren Maniacs book so that I can read it this time.
